Unbalanced Sisyphus simulator

Playing this game feels like willingly acting as Sisyphus playing again and again against a Japanese deck. There is no winning against a Japanese deck and they are far more overpowered than any historical basis can justify. All there units cost nothing. Now I am not a bad player, but because I’m not a meta troll who decides to que up as Japan and overuse the same 15 Kards I see out of every players deck means that I will never win. I challenge the developers to play the game they rigged. If you would like a semi dramatic description of my last match here it goes: Japan player deploys 1 cost zero operation cost blitz card with a destruction condition. Enemy deploys 2 cost artillery with 3 attack, making it impossible for any unit I have to survive past deployment. I deploy a couple units. A few turns later Japan player plays at least 10 cards in a turn and all my units are destroyed and none of his have taken any damage. Playing against a Japanese deck is less of a battle and more of a war crime on the receiving end. I can’t wait for the Geneva convention faction update, but knowing the Japanese decks there will probably be a card added that all effects of the cards will be ignored just like in the real war shortly before they lost. Too bad that they will never lose in this card game. Please for the love of all casual fun make this game balanced.

I love this game

This game is such a fun and engaging game with a lot of unexpected twist there is just one down fall… WHY ARE DIAMONDS SO EXPENSIVE?!?!

Absolutely fantastic game

I like history quite a bit, and when I picked this game up it really intrigued me. Kards is a mix of Pokémon and Heartstone, in all the right ways. 10/10 game, I’m excited to see what this game has in store for the future.

Cool game

Fun game

Truly enjoyable but needs 3D models please !

I'm thoroughly enjoying this game. The dedication to its theme and the quality of the artwork are commendable. One suggestion to elevate the experience even further would be the introduction of miniatures. Imagine these figures not only engaging in combat but also adorning the cards, replacing or complementing the current bullet effects. This could truly bring the game to life and add a dynamic, tactile element to the gameplay. The challenge level is spot on, making for an engaging and rewarding experience.

Played for over 2 months

When I first got the game it was balanced and seemed fair, learned a lot on building my deck and playing. The more I played the more I saw the terrible mechanic behind the game, nothing is random when it says random, the match maker will pin you against counter decks if you play same deck 3 or more matches in a row, if you don’t spend money on the game you will never get anywhere where you can improve faster. The draft mode is a waste of money and/or time if you save up to buy the ticket. You don’t learn anything building the deck as you can choose a card early on that has no benefit unless the card it goes with shows up later. If you don’t spend money on the game you will never get the best possible cards to choose from. Ranked matches are a joke, once you reach the top 5 ranks you are playing everyone who has spent $500 or more on the game as they buy the most overpowered new decks when released as it’s not balanced. The game has a major flaw, what they need to do is make it a ranked match where you can choose to ban certain cards from the main nation chosen and 1 from the Ally that you don’t want to see and then build your decks in 5 mins or less.

Great mix of tactics, chance and atmosphere

I came to this game as Star Trek Adversaries shut down and it plays very similar but in a WWII guise. Very enjoyable though purchases in the shop are a bit dear. However, you get one free card every day and rewards for playing are fair so you can build your collection without spending a penny, albeit slowly. Research on the Kards deck website is essential to build a winning deck, and the periodic updates introduce new cards in the meta so you have to keep adapting your deck as well as your strategy. Deck cards have to work together though some are ridiculously overpowered. You can encounter some uber players so you have to be prepared to take a good licking, too. Good learning opportunity though! All in all, it’s very enjoyable, the art is gorgeous and you can learn some history on the fly. I hope it stays around longer than Star Trek Adversaries!

The almost sober CCG available to mobile rn

Pretty much everything is accessible for free, if you’re willing to grind. But grinding is not the point of the game; the point is to experience with your creativity with the limitations you have- and this game makes the experience very rewarding. So much so that I have thrown money at this game for cosmetics as a donation because I appreciate them that much. For those concerned about pay2win: It is entirely possible to make it to top rank without high rarity cards and buying rare cards will not make you a good player.

With the cycling of cards they have, the meta is fresh and dynamic with almost every update. Andddd, of the cards you crafted that get sent to the reserve pool, there is a way to refund them for wildcards again. The complaint of losing cards to balance changes in other reviews is based off of outdated mechanics.
