Solid app
I’ve been using this app for a few months now. I really like how there are different prompts and options to get started if you don’t know exactly what to write that day.
It might be nice to have an option to disable streaks? I don’t have enough happening in my life to update every day, so seeing the 0/7 streaks all the time seems a bit funky. I usually update every 3-4 days. Not a real problem tho.

Goodbye to DayOne
Having used DayOne since 2014, I begrudge paying over £30 a year for minimal annual development. I was looking around for an alternative that gave me more multimedia possibilities and came across this app from the makers of Noteshelf. Now for a small one off fee I can add handwritten notes using their excellent fountain pen, add sketches, highlight text and even write on images. It also backs up to iCloud. This is on top of other media that DayOne makes you pay for such as PDF, audio recordings and scanning. It’s still a new app and does currently lack things like creating your own templates (they have several pre written ones), importing entries, ‘On this day’ and location info, but I’m hopeful there will be new features brought over from Noteshelf. So after well over 2000 entries in DayOne it’s time for something new that adds more possibilities to my daily journaling.

Excellent Journal
Easy to use and does everything I need. This is an excellent journal app.
Nice journal, love that it’s paid with no subscription!
I cannot afford subscription apps (being one of many people with a fixed income living paycheck to paycheck) so I am so thankful for companies that still offer paid apps, and this app is a good journal well worth the price. The only complaint is that for me the streaks does not seem to work correctly; the streaks was always at 0 even though I used it everyday. Please keep up the good work and the updates coming.

There’s no way to export your data
The app looks good and I’d love to use it more thoroughly, but after a few days I realised anything you put in the app is trapped in here. There’s no way of exporting your content. If the app ever disappears or they go out of business or you just want to use something different, you’ll lose everything you’ve recorded. That’s a dealbreaker for a journaling app.

So Amazing! I have some suggestions
I absolutely love this app. I use it everyday multiple times a day. I do have some suggestions though: definitely a dark mode, more color options and fonts 😁😁
So far I Love It!
Honestly, I’m so tired of subscriptions for journals. I just want something simple that I can use easily. This actually has a number of features that make it nice, like being able to use different fonts, create bulleted text, etc. And being able to add photos is always a plus. There are probably more things I haven’t discovered yet!

Please add this to the tablet, ipad version and the mac version. I would probably use this more on my mac. I’m sure other’s would too. Overall i really like this, i love how we have individual journals for each things. please keep this going 💗
