Potential for greatness
I hope they continue to nurture and mature GoJournal by giving it the the attention it needs to flourish. If that means switching to a subscription model, so be it. But please keep GoJournal alive and well.
I was really hoping that with iOS 18 they would reveal an exciting new version with some new features and functionality.
For example, things like …
* Drag and drop of notebooks to rearrange in order we want
* Journal groups to organize our journal by area
* Drag and drop of list items for managing a daily todo list easier or any type of list (like Noto)
* Entry bookmarks / favorites
* Custom background themes
* Wiki links for developing a knowledge base by linking related entries (like Bear notes)
* Trash can for deleted entries
* Multiple icons to choose from and support ios18 tinted icons
* An Apple Watch app (on par with Noteshelf) for adding audio entries.
I guess we will wait and see … Meanwhile, I will hold to the faith that new life will be breathed into GoJournal soon. 🤞
Even though it hasn’t been given the attention it deserves, GoJournal is still one of the best kept secrets in iOS Journaling apps, that’s why I’m bothering to write this review.
