I have been spotting mermaids purses for years now and always try and submit my results to the shark trust. I find this latest app to be greatly dumb down and more often than not doesn’t actually allow finds to be submitted! It just whirls away on the upload button, till I get bored! Much of our coastline has poor or nonexistent internet, so not to be even able to see a picture of the different types of cases now is definitely a backwards step! Disappointed
I was really keen to use this app and so excited to discover several eggs when beach combing, but when I went to upload them nothing uploaded. Argghhh! And with no obvious support contact I could not troubleshoot. ☹️Primitive reality

Fantastic shark resource
This is a new and improved version of a previous Shark Trust app and loads better. Great resource for information and a hub for all your shark related conservation projects. My son loves to upload egg cases and shark sightings to earn special shark fact cards, building a collection within the app. Great for adults and kids alike. Also any issues shark trust sort out straight away for you - they are really keen and helpful. 10/10.Show lessken and kamohoalii
A great app
We saw this on winter watch and this weekend headed to the beach to find loads of eggs. Easy to use and informative and can collect cards for each submission. Fun for kids.elleceepee
