Awful app and set up process!
I tried to hire a car for my 5yo son to enjoy whilst looking around the Designer Outlet in Bridgend.
We tried for over 30 minutes at the three different pick up/park stations at the outlet, but it wouldn’t release a car despite scanning a number of QR codes. The staff at the outlet were kind and helpful and called Kiddy Cars via telephone to release a car…but even that didn’t work for us.
We could see other families had been successful, hiring cars that wouldn’t work for us minutes before and the staff at the outlet’s explanation was that the app’s connection was being temperamental.
What we were hoping to have was a shopping trip with some fun for my son, but this situation turned out to be a very frustrating time for me and quite an upsetting experience for him. He was so disappointed. His excitement plummeted into an emotional meltdown!

Doesn’t work
Just as frustrating as reported in other reviews. The app simply doesn’t work. We couldn’t get any cars, was charged twice the £15 deposit which will hopefully be refunded. It takes time to download, fill in your card details, try and try again. Very frustrating if you have a small child near you (at that age, their patience is limited - fyi clever app developers!).Show lessArlo 👼

Hired 2 cars with ease at the Ashford outlet
Unfortunately when we took one of the cars out the previous people had left food and spilt drink in there. I did feedback to kiddy car and they refunded the cost!Pidders87
Disappointing didn’t work!
Really disappointed, my autistic son really wanted to have a go in one of the cars but the app just kept failing to work! Tried and tried to get it to work downloading it a number of times without joy. My son had a MASSIVE melt down (autism) it ruined our whole day out and will take him a number of days to get over it!Show less!veryunhappy!
Rubbish app = screaming child
The app glitches and doesn’t work, couldn’t finish order no matter what I did (closing app, re-installing etc). Consequently that lead to a screaming child. Don’t even bother trying!!Chocolottie00

I don’t think an app was necessary to run kids carts rental. Well it is what it is. The worst part of it is that never have I had so many scammers calling me like after signing it to your app. It’s like 3-4 calls a day since I’ve signed in. First one came like an hour after I’ve signed in. Seems like GDPR doesn’t ring a bell for you guys.Show lesswhychuck
