We have used Massala for years but tonight will be the last time.
Last order we had was not 100% correct & took 90 minutes to arrive but tonight we have waited almost 2.5 hours, the original order time was 1hr 2 minutes & after 1hr 40 minutes the app said the delivery was on its way. After a further 30 minutes I rang them, during the conversation I was told ‘should have arrived by now’, ‘it’s in its way’ & ‘it’ll be 15-20 minutes’ when I questioned this I was told roadworks & problems all night. The fact we’re 10 minutes away tells me that they had actually forgotten our order & was cooking it when I raised the issue.
The star in the review is because when it arrived the food was nice, although chips were cold, but as we’d ordered at 18.50 & the food arrived at 21.05 it was poor consolation.
Delivery driver was lovely & apologised, bless her she is new to this role, just a shame the people answering the phone wasn’t as honest.
