AMAZING GAME but too stingy
I love the game! I love every hoyoverse/mihoyo game out there, hsr, genshin, zzz, h13. Its all great! I love all the designs and etc but its the rewards we get as an free to play player! Im not trying to be rude but you guys are too stingy with rewards like I can’t even pull for my favourite characters, and all these new characters that are coming are brutal towards us f2p players as we dont have enough wishes. Its giving us suspense because all we want is the characters we want, but we are unable to obtain such with the little amount of rewards from events we complete. I am grateful for the game and how it is my new favourite but please take into consideration that not everyone is able to afford such expensive currencies such as primogems, stellarjades and etc. We want to be able to get more of those to be able to wish for our favourite characters but are unable to do so with the limited amount of rewards you guys give us! Please in the future, add more rewards, be more generous to us. You are a multi-million dollar company and yet you are unable to give us a few wishes, let alone 1 (being dramatic). I hope you’ll add more rewards, thats my only request.

Stuck
Have been playing this game since its release. It has great characters, great storyline’s and overall is an amazing and enjoyable game. Though recently i have realised that for a few of the past side stories and even some of the main stories fights that you have to complete in order to be able to continue are so hard. No matter how much your characters levelled and the team comp supports them to do maximum damage there’s physically no way to keep up. I understand that you cant make everything super easy for players and there has to be some work put in, but it has become increasingly frustrating to the point that i really lack the want to continue the game being stuck in the same spot for god knows how long. It makes you fall behind and makes everything 10x harder to catch up to. Again i understand some difficulty level in order to keep players engaged but difficulty to the point where no matter how hard you try becomes tiring and makes me lack interest , thank you.

Amazing Turn Based RPG
We have all played turn based combat games before, be them Pokemon or a surplus of mobile games, making a fast-paced, exciting rendition of this common framework is no small feat, but Honkai: Star Rail accomplished it. I love how you build characters to come at different speeds and recharge their ultimates faster, and even that you can activate those ultimates at any time keeps you on your toes to kill an enemy asap. The vast range of characters and their abilities is incredible, and I find this game enjoyable both on the large screen of my PC and on my phone. The graphics are visually stunning and the storyline is captivating and complex. In terms of Gacha and banners, the standard characters are honestly good (I have Bronya on my main team), and the new characters never cease to amaze me. (Praying for Herta atm) Stellar Jades are available regularly in events that reset weekly such as Divergent Universe and can be obtained through progressing in the story and completing smaller quests. This game is so well made and I appreciate all the effort and talent that went into this digital masterpiece ❤️.

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH, I play genshin as well which is realllyyyy good gameplay BUT HONKAI GRAPHICS, MISSIONS, AND CUTSCENES are just top-tier. The new characters coming out look insane too, and I’m so excited for the next planet 👌👌
Absolute love this game
If you’re a person who doesn’t mind turn based gameplay, and enjoys in depth story lines plus characters with actual potential- try this game. I played Genshin Impact for two years and then joined Honkai Star Rail on its release and it’s very free to play friendly if you can’t afford to spend money on games. The character designs are unique, though the majority of Xianzhou Luofu female characters have similar clothing designs. I don’t get why people complain about this specifically, when the Luofu seems to be based on east asia, and it isn’t uncommon for people to traditionally dress for their culture/background. Besides the powercreep on old vs new characters, this game is actually open to introducing more fighting paths. The example in this case being remembrance. Absolutely adore this game and the lore! Might be a bit harder for the newer players to catch up though if they don’t have the time to clear quests.

I love Honkai star rail and I’ve played both Genshin, HI3 and Honkai star rail and Hsr just seems to fit me more, i love the exploration and the characters and the combat suits me more too as is turn based. Another good thing about the game is that the rewards system is pretty good, your never out of ways to earn jades and it might get a little slow whilst trying to farm them sometimes but the Divergent universe resets every week and you get quite a couple jades from just that.
One thing however is the amount of storage it takes up, I get a game like this will have a lot of storage needed as Genshin is the same but with Genshin they added an ‘offload previous quest resources’ which allowed you to delete scene packs and voice lines or something for quests youve already done therefore freeing up some storage, Hsr took up about 30GB when i last had it installed and because of that i had to uninstall it as my phone didnt have enough storage for it. I think it would great if Honkai added that feature too as i was up to date with all of the main quests and if the feature was added id be able to offload a couple Gigabytes i hope, a lot of other people mention this being a good idea too like on TikTok and even on the Hoyoverse app.

This game has very few problems, enough complaining.
I recognize hoyoverse has faced many problems and they definitely are trying to fix them as the creators are constantly taking action. Some people just do not understand the pressure if owning a well-known company of multiples games that are bound to have problems. For example the problem with voice actors, they’ve been fixed or are being fixed, people should emphasize the problem more nicely. Another problem that many people have constantly been complaining about is the lack of dark skinned characters, well maybe their designs just don’t work with darker skin? Maybe they’ve had better lighter skin designs and would like to release them first, or maybe perhaps they are trying. People can’t keep complaining, the titles are also very off the top with titles like “boycott hoyoverse.” That’s plain unnecessary and disrespectful. This game is amazing, keep your passion burning and don’t give up.

Worrisome, Blissful
Day 2 of leaving a bad review everyday until topaz gets a 3rd rerun because I lost on topaz’s weapon banner twice in a row now. I’ve lost on the limited weapon banner twice out of the last three limited weapons I rolled for and both of those losses were on the most recent two topaz weapon banners. This is a 1 star player experience hence the 1 star review.
Also artifact farming is egregious. I just wish the substats had official rates cause not clarifying them specifically, makes it seem like they’re implying that all substats are suppose to have equal rates when that isn’t even close to being the case. Also the reason why not mentioning any of the substat rates implys that all of the substats must have equal rates is because having equal rates amongst all the substats is the only time anyone can know the rates without having to literally roll and figure out the rates manually since you just divide 100 by the number of substat rolls possible. If the substat rates aren’t equal how is anyone suppose to know the rates without manually testing and gathering large quantities of data themself?
In other words the rates are trash and they hide them on purpose because they know the player base wouldn’t be happy about them if we knew them so they just chose to let us be literally unhappy with these rates instead.
