  • Getting better… still unusable though

    Great that tracking by mileage is now an option… problem is it is not independent from date. You cannot select a custom mileage interval separate from date. I cannot set my oil change to 12 months or 10k miles.. nope. Every month is tied to 1k miles. So I must either select 12 mo/12k or 10 mo/10k. That is not workable. Date and mileage must be independently selectable, not tied together.
    Also.. it’s seems the only way to reset a Service tracker is to do it now (current date and miles). Entering past services into Service History does not effect the current tracking. That’s not usable.

    Edit: 6/3/24: Have you tried the latest version? The distance and time have been separated, try it and let me know what you think. - Original: I will try to separate the distance and time. Would you mind elaborating a little more on the issue entering services? The idea is that you enter previous records directly in the Service History screen except for the last one since that's the one you'll be tracking. Kind reminder, if you already paid for the app and are not satisfied, you can always ask Apple for your money back. - Hi, thank you for your comments. The ability to track services by mileage or kilometers was added on version 3.0 which was released in Aug 22, 2022. The life-cycle indicator updates based on what happens first, distance or time. Give it try and let me know what you think. Thanks.

    You add it mileage which is great but can you do it separately, One mileage and one months with a toggle switches. you put them both together and it screwed up everything I set up.. thank you….

    EDIT 08/29/2022 - Version 3.1 has been released today Aug, 29, in this version the distance and time have been separated, try it and let me know what you think - Hi, thanks a lot for your comments, I really appreciate it. I'll try to separate the distance from the time intervals in the next release, I think it makes more sense. I apologize if this change caused you any trouble, it was a really be change adding the ability to track services by distance but it wasn't supposed to alter any existing data you previously entered.   • Have to enter history in chronological order

    I’m on a car trip and download the app while my wife is taking a turn driving and started entering the history for my 2015 vehicle to kill some time. After entering the most recent oil change and then entering the previous oil change, they show up in the history in the order entered, regardless if the odometer or date settings for each oil change. They are out of order. Why wouldn’t the history always show in reverse chronological or reverse odometer order as default so that the “latest” service is the most recent, not the last one entered? This seems silly to show the history in the order entered regardless of date. Now I have to stop using the app until I get home and gather all my receipts and sort them myself before entering any more. Disappointed.

    Edit 06/3/24, Have you tried the latest version? - EDIT Aug 28, 2022: The ability to add previous services that were not tracked by the app was added in version 3.0, just go to the Service History screen and add your service records there. Try it and let me know what you think! - Thank you for your comments. Please keep in mind that the app it's pretty young still and new features are constantly added. Records are ordered by service date, NOT by date entered. Please note that the last service you enter is always tracked, in other words, it shows in the records screen but it really still in progress and updates as time passes, please note that it turns red, yellow or green based on the service life. If you want to log previous services, just make sure that the last service you enter is really the last service you have done for that specific service, the rest of the services can really be entered in any order and will be automatically re-ordered by service date (not by day entered). The ability to enter records directly in the records screen is coming soon, just be patient, I'm constantly improving the app. If what you're seeing is different than what I'm describing here, please contact me at support@filysalas.com and send me more details. Also, keep in mind that if you already paid for the app you can call Apple and ask for your money back, I totally understand it. Thanks.

    Thank you for your comments. Please note that for most people the free version works perfectly fine; there are thousands of users using the free version. Please keep in mind that the app has no annoying adds and let's you keep track of all of your car services of you first car and partial on your second car. Thanks.

    I wish I had downloaded this app a long time ago. Easy input, intuitive, fast. Can’t say enough about how much I like it. I have used 2 other apps before this one and each blew up or went OB. This one is superior and I hope it stays around! Also, I reached out to the developer with a question and, wow, he actually responded quickly with the answer! Nothing like “old school” customer service.
