Sad

I got the free version…..I played with it for an afternoon….it was magnificent. Here take my money I thought and promptly paid for the Pro version. I only need it to run Reaper and for the controller to be functional….nothing else. Since I went pro, I can’t get it to stay connected….it looks great and I’ll await an update and hope for the best…but whatever the issue is…it.s not good enough.

Doesn’t stay connected BUT

I believe these folks will fix the issues. I use it for resolve. Worked for an hour then wouldn’t connect. I’ll hang in there for now…

I see the potential

I want this to work for me so badly. Bought the pro version for 12 dollars. I made a couple of controllers, one of which was for Reason. Somehow it created over 100 copies and I can’t find a way to restore factory settings. I tried deleting and re-downloading. I tried turning off the cloud. if you’re telling me that I have to manually delete over 100 instances of this I’m already done with it because every time I try to delete one of them by holding it and selecting delete from the drop-down menu, the app freezes, I’m on a fairly new iPad pro. I haven’t been able to find any help on the website or using the help chat. Please advise.

Promising but doesn’t stay connected

Tedious to get connected and doesn’t stay connected. By the time I press record and perform take it stops working

Basic flaw

Seemed exactly what I needed to control Cubase and sample libraries - but with Mackie control enabled the library templates (of course) change DAW parameters - so you use it for one or the other not both. Hopefully Lemur will return and solve all our controller problems.
There are also a few bugs like naming pages makes the app crash.
Drum pads trigger on release not on touch (weird).
Naming of keyboard notes not possible (for key switch use).
But simple to setup and useful for some.

Doesn’t work using an iPad to control Cakewalk

There are several features that work such as the transport and channels. My project is 36 tracks. I can not control over 8. The documentation is weak.

Simple & Clean

Simple to configure, nice clean interface. Took me about one hour from download to having a complete control surface for a MIDI synthesizer. Lots of options for user interface elements.

Great app support

Had some basic functionality issues and these folks gave the best detailed help instructions I’ve ever had from an app seller.
Also the controller does what it says… it works well for Luna and Bitwig, my primary DAWs.

Insufficient documentation

The problem here is a lack of proper documentation. I would like to upgrade to pro using Logic, but out of the box I couldn’t figure out how to show the launchpad. None of the buttons give a clue. The website describes its modes, but not how to launch it. Frustrating. I need a manual, a simple one, two, three approach. This seems to be a problem with smaller audio companies. I’m not a geek. I’m a musician. Please make this user friendly. Maybe I’ll upgrade then.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The Launchpad controller is part of the free download. You don't need to buy the PRO expansion to use it; just create a new Launchpad controller (not DAW controller). The app provides a Getting started section with step by step guides on how to configure the different type of controllers offered. As musicians ourselves, we understand how important is to have simple and straightforward interfaces, and we'll continue to improve the usability and our online tutorials and videos. For further support don't esitate to contact us though our help desk.
