ProRemote Light Edition

Everything is new in this version of ProRemote. ProRemote was written a long time ago and has evolved over 14 years. Much of that old code has become unsupported by Apple which means it could be the source of bugs when Apple updates the OS. They no longer test unsupported APIs. It took over a year, but all that code has been replaced with new code that should last another 10+ years. It wouldn't be fair to do so much work and have no new features, so we added a bunch of features to the Pads utility which now includes gesture support and some other neat tricks it can do. A 10-key numeric keypad was also added. ProRemote is now localized in French with other languages coming soon. ProRemote LE and ProRemote are now identical apps!

With so many different screen sizes, we needed to make minor fixes for the right side bank arrow. We also removed the Watch app as Apple makes it hard to maintain our software.

* It's been a long time coming but this new version of ProRemote LE is completely revamped for iOS 8 and now also includes support for the Apple Watch! Yay! * We updated ProRemote LE to have a "stretchable UI" so that it can support all the various iPhone and iPad display sizes. * Finally added a restore purchases button for your hard earned upgrades. ** Because the code is all new, PLEASE report bugs to us instead of leaving a bad review! ** Send a bug report to support@folabs.com and we will fix the bug ASAP as we work on 3.0.1. We want this release to be as rock-solid as our last version so you can focus on making music. *** Be sure to update your ProRemoteServer on your Mac to the latest version (3.0.0) or ProRemote LE will complain that you do not have the latest! *** * We will no longer support any iOS less than iOS 8 with this release. * For those users with older devices that cannot run iOS 8, just stay with the older version of ProRemote LE, it is still fully supported and can still be restored from the AppStore without problems. * Known issues: - If you cannot connect from your Apple Watch and get an error, be sure to first launch ProRemote LE on your phone and connect to a server. Then quit ProRemote and wait a few minutes and then try again on the Watch. - Avid changed their control surface fader taper recently and as a result, the latest version of ProTools' and ProRemote LE's db scales are off by 0.2db. We will address this in 3.0.1.

XY Controller

Adds the full functionality of Pro XY application to ProRemote LE. XY controller is a two-dimensional surface that sends controller messages based on finger location.

Mouse Pad

Use ProRemote LE as a wireless mouse and keyboard for those hard to reach commands.

MIDI Pads

Adds the full ProPads application functionality to ProRemote LE. Good for programming basic MIDI sequences and custom command keys.

Fader Pack One

Adds eight more faders to ProRemote LE. You can purchase multiple fader packs for up to thirty two channels of control.

Fader Pack Three

Adds eight more faders to ProRemote LE. You can purchase multiple fader packs for up to thirty two channels of control.

Fader Pack Two

Adds eight more faders to ProRemote LE. You can purchase multiple fader packs for up to thirty two channels of control.

Full Transport

Adds all the features of the ProTransport application to ProRemote LE.

Advanced Features

Adds plugin editing, fader flip, EQ, master channel control, modifier keys, global view and navigation functionality. Please read the HUI or Mackie Control manual before purchasing.

Unlock all Features

This unlocks all the features that exist in the Full version and makes ProRemote LE exactly the same as the full version of ProRemote. This includes all the functionality from ProTransport, ProPads and Pro XY. You also get Meter Landscape mode and more.
