Excellently stable

Compared to many of the other virtual instruments I use with GarageBand, this one is the most stable by far. There was only one instance ever where it has acted up on me, and that appears to been patched as it was about 7-8 months ago minimum when it glitched and hasn’t happened since.

This is also excellent if you want to put bits of music on multiple instruments to make cool timbres that otherwise aren’t really possible.

Just trust me. This plugin is awesome.

crashing issue

having a major crashing bug at the moment and wont allow app to run more than a few plays on garageband before crashing out and having to be disabled or reloaded and then completely not working at all. love the app love the sounds please look into and see if there is a fix or update. ty

Wow super apps!

Incredible free apps!!! Wow keep your good work!! ☺️
Thanks a a lot ! 🙏

App keeps quitting

Every time I play in GarageBand it’ll say ‘audio extension quit’ and other times it’ll work perfectly other than that I’d give it 5 stars if that was fixed.

Now, this is integrity

Other developers, so called big shot devs should be learning from this respected and dignified developers.

The app, the devs, thank you so much..

iOS love you!

It would be great if it weren’t for sustain pedal issues

The sustain pedal doesn’t work with this app, all you get is obnoxious noise when you press the sustain pedal.
NOTE to Developers: I’m using the Yamaha FC3A Piano-style Sustain Pedal with Half-damper Control with my P-125 digital piano w/USB MIDI controller.

Hidden Gem!

I am not sure how I missed this app but recently picked it up. I still need to figure some of it out but it’s great auv3 for bread and butter sounds. The damper pedal noise is a little too much for me but it’s great that it’s tweakable. It has been stable in using it standalone and in auv3.

Great App but Not Fully Reliable

This app provides a stellar steinway sound, and a great UI for a gigging musician. It is almost a perfect app, except that there seems to be polyphony issues when playing consistently for more than a few minutes and notes start to drop out. Because the MIDI Panic button is hidden in the settings, it makes this app not perfect yet for gigging.

Ideally we’d be able to adjust the polyphony setting ourselves to avoid this note dropout. Additionally, there are some noise issues with the string resonance that you have to solve by increasing the buffer size to an unusable delay. It would be great to see this improve.

All that being said, I really hope Studiologic keeps working on this app and maybe down the road we see IAPs for additional SL sounds that we see on their Numa Piano series.

This thing is free!?!

It’s crazy that this app is free! All you need is any keyboard that has MIDI out, and with this app you have sound like an expensive Korg, Roland, or Yamaha keyboard. Getting it is a no-brainer.

My New go to

The Pianos are superb the best I got, and I have quite a few paid apps. I was going to get live gigging module, but so far I will stick with this. Can’t wait to use it with my Studiologic. on order. Just plugged it into my new studiologic love it. The perfect lightweight great action partner.
