Misleading - how do I cancel!?

Our Authenticator 7 application adheres to strict privacy standards, and we do not have access to your 2FA codes, so unfortunately we cannot restore them. This app is a subscription scam
This app had me fully convinced at some point in time that it was Microsoft Authenticator, which I now know is completely free. I’ve paid for at least 2 years of a $30 subscription which I didn’t need. The reputable Authenticator apps are free.
I consider myself extremely tech-aware and virtually scam-proof, but they got me on this one.
I’ve also felt safe in the Apple ecosystem, because of Apple’s many claims about privacy and safety. I won’t rest on that sense of safety any longer!
