  • Great and creative app

Tone recognition is not good like tonestro. If you guys can fix that I would subscribe.

    Developer Response

I’ll rather take it as a compliment - Tonestro, in my understanding, is actually a company with a team; and I am just a single guy doing this, and related apps / web-site, as a personal side-project, aside my primary freelance jobs that pay my bills. Thus, punching well above my weight here, and it reads amusing that users compare me with the way larger competitor :) This said, I am aware the tone recognition is not ideal, and needs improvements. Can't estimate when I'll arrive to do something about it, but it is definitely on my todo list for the long run.
  • I do not recommend this.

This was a terrible app, all it has is folk songs, and you have to pay money to even unlock those. If you look at the third picture in the preview, you can see there are nothing but folk songs.

    Developer Response

Yeah… unfortunately, the cost of printing rights needed to legally distribute sheet music for any musical work outside the public domain (i.e. anything composed after 1928) is just prohibitive for an app of this size. It would need at least x100 larger user base and revenue to make it financially feasible. Thus, we are limited to folk songs and other stuff which has entered public domain already, and thus free of any third-party intellectual property rights.
