Strange game
So the download took like forever, I didn’t experience any bugs or errors and runs smoothly. It’s a strange game to enjoy. Putting film clips together is awkward and frustrating. I don’t know I wouldn’t call it a game as such more like I don’t know a messed up app of movie clips that need sorted. I am disappointed that it’s not an interactive game like the ‘Broken Sword’ games. I can’t get into this game and as described dreadful movie scenes.Show lessCherryMilkshakeLauren
Another hypotonic Barlow interactive experience
No one else does FMV interactive movies as well as these. Strange, atmospheric and addictive.
UPDATE: The game seems to have completely stopped working. Keeps making me re-download the game data, sometimes the counter goes over 100%, sometimes it never finishes, the one time it did finish it just crashed out and when i restarted it told me i need to download the data again. Deleted / reinstalled, still not working.Show lessalsdkfjas

Huge download and confusing gameplay
It needs to download an additional 12gb before you can play the game, and honestly it made me feel so daft when trying to play it. The instructions make no sense if you don’t work in the film industry, and I found the controls and point of the game really clunky and hard to figure out.
Had the potential to be really cool, and it’s clear a lot has gone into the game. It’s a shame I have no idea how to play the thing.Show lessmrgnjn2

Played this for a while, then read a walkthrough to understand it. Now I know what it is meant to do and neither like it nor see why this would be fun.

Hauntingly beautiful game for adults
I absolutely adored Immortality, and playing it is an experience I won’t soon forget.
It requires a lot of space on your device, so I had to download it on my iPhone instead of my iPad like I originally planned, which was unfortunate but that didn’t stop me from getting completely sucked in by the narrative(s).
I’ve heard playing with a controller is better, but even if you don’t (like I didn’t), it shouldn’t take away from your experience. I don’t want to write too much more because part of what enchanted me so much was that I was not expecting things to happen while I was scrubbing the clips to discover the mysterious disappearance of Marissa. But if you don’t play with a controller, just keep your ears and eyes open.
Not for the faint of heart (there’s some adult content) or people who want a game with more gameplay, you are basically watching clips and swiping on objects to match cut you to another clip. But there were parts that were so unexpected and quite terrifying that I never felt bored.
I can’t recommend Immortality highly enough; just make sure your device has enough room for it. Oh, I didn’t have experience any bugs like some of the other reviews, and it really just takes a little getting used to the “controls” (how to swipe, pinch, etc. to make different things happen to the video clips).Show lessLauraP210

Not sure why it has such a low rating but the ios gameplay was really good. Theres some tricky bits thats needed figuring out but i had so much fun finding them.pbirdie_

This is a unique experience that would be difficult to replicate. I appreciate the plot(s) and the ending. Or rather the sort of ending before the real ending. Good script, actors, and planing to make this come together. Some of the controls can be a little twitchy on the phone but that’s okay.DiatomBlue
Unable To Play
App asks me to make more storage available despite having plenty free. After deleting a load of stuff I went back into the game only to find the amount of space required to be cleared had actually gone up! Clearly very faulty.AF MacNally
