Works well as a local device. I haven’t set up for internet streaming.
But if you could add audio streaming it would be complete. The old Jellyfin app fails to stream audio when screen times out.

Buggy and Slow
The app is often slow to respond and crashes randomly. I appreciate this is free for open source software but it’s still just frustrating enough to ditch the app and use the web interface.

The app is great, don't get me wrong but there are 2 features I'd love. First of all I'd love to be able to download the content, and 2 is the missing e-book support. Anyways hope those get added, and the app is still amazing for what it does.

After using the browser app “Jellyfin” on iOS (basically just safari with a plugin) for THREE YEARS, only find out the same dev made this app too?? Why this isn’t the native one?
Many people wanted offline video download… honestly I see the technical challenge on this, but maybe try an idea that download offline file like streaming (convert on server, save that file locally on iOS).

Wow! Quite an update
I haven’t been on the app for a long while due to some missing features, but it’s really coming together! The new format makes navigation a breeze, and the coloring looks great!
Only complaint… I don’t have one of my Media folders available. In this case Anime is missing from All Media. Though “Next up” does have some shows from it. Sad day

Apple TV Version stuck on 1.0.1
For some reason I cannot update to the latest version on my Apple TV. Why is this?

When scrolling through the cover artwork movie list on a regular sized iPhone 11 you can only see the roles on the on the edges of the phone, the middle row is black & empty please fix… The three rows show up just fine on a larger iPhone

The app is very buggy and I often lose track of where I am when switching back and forth from TV to phone. Native play isn’t default so playback will continue in the background if you get a phone call. again, because of the lack of native play you do not have the ability to pause from the command centre or other devices like AirPods. Instead it will play the last thing paused with native playback WHILE Jellyfin is still playing!
It’s all around a subpar experience compared to android….has there been any real development on the iOS app recently? I truly want to switch from PLEX but not with this kind of support on the Apple TV and iPhone.
