it wont let me login into the game AT ALL using any platform, there’s always an “error”. the game wont let me play without an account either.
The game is just like Dofus, but with a bit of a change, and the change effects the gameplay a little bit. Which means I don’t like it that much. But is a W game to try it. I just wish that they do a update just for weapons. For have a extra buff on the character, just like in Dofus and Wakfu. I hope you read dis Devs of Waven. And I hope the update for weapons comes to reality.
After downloading, regardless if you play with an account or not, the app requires the ability to track you and mine you for data. Sure, sounds great. Why not ask for one’s social security and bank routing numbers as well? Do not care how good a game may be, knowingly providing a third (and more) parties to the ease of your personal data is idiotic at best. Promptly deleted without playing.
i liked Ankama games a lot, MMORPGs, and strategy games, but usually find them too cumbersome between events, repetitive gameplay, grinds, long play session requirements, etc.
all works fine when i have time, but doesn’t when i don’t…
this game manages to not “dumb down” the in-depth strategical and lore and general gaming experience, while smoothing out the headaches and all.
just stupidly killer.
no pay walls at all; great graphics, music, design, characters, etc etc; the fact it’s on the phone makes it suuuuper easy to play for a sec and drop in and out (and rounds can be fast, dungeons can be long); shared progression between characters makes it super smooth/snappy but also not “too easy”; variety between classes, subclasses, spell decks + equipment + companion, etc is ginormous AND balanced/encouraging of creativity (not often there’s an objective “this is the only way to do this)… it’s just fantastically done, would highly recommend!
Excellent game!
As I expect for an Ankama's game, Waven is very good. Very good combat, a lot of combinations of spells, items, skills, companions... Waven makes you want to continue to think, build and test a lot of combinations. I know the game will be grinding a lot, but it's ok, still have a lot of fun when a tactic or combination works well. The music is absolutely good, the art is ok (not wonderful like my favourite Wakfu), the gameplay is good. This is so far the best free to play mobile mmo you can have.

A game that gives you everything! All heroes are free and the more you play the more you unlock and lvl up easily, very fun deck building tactical with coop and pvp system
