New hoyo game? Say less
I’ve always loved hoyoverse’s games, as I’ve playing most of them. This one is honestly a new favorite! It isn’t as tech-based like Honkai star rail or Honkai Impact, although somewhat down to earth like Genshin Impact. In simpler terms for people who have not playing any of those, it’s an excellent mix of free world play and strategy-based gameplay. It could have more free world, but it’s a new game so I guess it’s to be expected! I love the storyline and it is pretty easy to digest, I would just highly recommend reading all the guides as it will always be confusing otherwise. The characters seem so interesting and I already love just the starters with my all heart! Definitely do not focus on collecting characters so much as listening to the storyline and collecting as you go along, it’ll be much more fun that way. Take your time! Get used to the game, you may not want a character now so look forward and stay updated on any future banner releases. No glitches, absolute amazing visuals, I can constantly tell Hoyoverse is improving! The comic slideshow style is also nice, it produces less lag than Genshin Impact which is always a plus. I always thought the strategic nature of Honkai impact was fun, this is just a perfect mix for myself. Character designs could have more color, but overall I’m looking forward to the near future!! This game is actually pretty good
I don’t get why this game is getting so much hate. I mean did people really want ANOTHER open world gatcha game? We already have genshin, Wuthering Waves, Tof and even hsr can be considered open world. People are also complaining about the tvs? Is that really that big of an issue? The tvs are part of the theme get over it plus everyone knows you’re playing on 3-5 monitors at your house. The combat is 2nd to Wuwa. The story I’m every gatcha seems to be not very good so that’s fine. Some people complained that there are too many girls in the game? As if Wuthering waves doesn’t have female after female in every single banner? If you don’t like the game then don’t play it. Go back to genshin or genshin 2.0(Wuwa). This is a different experience and I’m actually tired of people bringing this game down taking away the joy of the people that actually do like it and want the game to succeed.

People just like to complain
If you don’t have enough storage… figure it out. Get a new phone. Clear stuff out. Doesn’t make sense to give this game a bad review just because you don’t have the resources. Mobile games are getting larger with the times.. so are video files.. photos.. apps..
Anyways, so far this game has been pretty fun but there’s an overwhelming amount of menus and sub menus. coming to the genre like me can be intimidating at first but I’m sure it’s a shirt adjustment period. The combat so far is very flashy but simple. I’m hoping as you progress it becomes more challenging with dodging and combos

Great first impressions.
First of all, Hoyo once again exceeded expectations with how polished the game is, I’ve encountered no bugs, no crashes, and exceptional quality and performance even on low end devices. The art style and direction is extremely consistent, as well as the voice acting. The tone of the game feels casual, and plays casual, which was intended from the devs, so good job on that. The combat for me is mesmerizing. Parrying is extremely satisfying, combat mechanics are easy to learn and use, and I’m looking forwards for the endgame content in the future. The story is also decent from what I’ve seen, but the personality of characters and their interactions are enjoyable.

zzZ
ive played like 10 hours of the game and honestly i now understand why they call it zzZ snoozefest honestly. The fighting is alright. More annoying than anything how they force you to switch so often, like id rather they didnt slow my game for wanting to play a certain character with the prompt. And omg how annoying it is when they stop you from moving in the HDD just to say some unimportant line stops you for 5 seconds then says “oh lets scan this area”, like it happens so often 😂 like why dont they just talk while we’re playing. Omg the talk scenes are such a bore like let me playyyy. Its a comic like game why not just add panels to the side while we’re in game or just say it. But instead they just stand there, forcing us to just sit an watch idle images. The whole game is like 80% talking 😂 And honestly if i wanted that id go back to genshin and finish all the story quest. Making people Stop and Wait just for a talk scene over and over and over is not fun

Crashing
It doesn’t even show anything or waste one second before closing down when I open it, waste of gigabytes at this point
I don’t usually write reviews but…
I think this is the best game Hoyo has put out so far! I love the combat, I think the story is really interesting, and beyond daily material farming (which I’m not even at yet!) there’s so much to do. I also love the artstyle change, it makes them game stand out from their other projects like a breath of fresh air. Moreover, they’ve implemented things that casual players have been asking for years, like story skip. Both protagonists are stand-alone characters and not really a self-insert which is a huge plus for me. Definitely will continue playing and enjoying this!!

Nice UI & Music
First: The full game, on Day 1 takes up 25gb of storage. Do with that info whatever you want (and remember it’s only increasing from here).
As for the game itself, it’s alright. The UI and music are amazing but the walking sim and [extremely simple] combat will get old fast. If you want more strategy try Honkai Star Rail, if you want more difficulty (more “Souls-like”) try Wuthering Waves. But if you want very simple, passable, flashy combat then this is good enough. The real pull of this one is the dialogue, character interactions, story, cutscenes…
Overall it passes you know, it’s fine. It’s just not another Genshin or WuWa. Even Honkai Impact 3rd felt more engaging. Personally, I’ll play it on the side here or there but I won’t be splurging on this one. Might get the soundtrack if anything.

Crashes as soon as the app is opened
I’ve tried everything! I’ve installed and uninstalled the app, I’ve looked for an update to see if it’s just that, I’ve even restarted my iPad several times too and it still won’t open. Is this a bug or an issue with the app itself or is there certain requirements that my iPad has to have in order to play it? I’ve gone online and followed the videos that have gone and said “Do this for your problem” but even that doesn’t work. I pre ordered the game I installed it on July 2nd when it came out that night and thought “Maybe it’s not playable until it comes out on the 4th?” That doesn’t seem to be the case at all. I’m very disappointed.
