Mike’s programs have really helped me, a reasonably fit and flexible 60-year-old, find new enjoyment & less discomfort in my golf.
After three months of the off-season program, I’m really feeling the difference on the range and in the golfing studio. I am stronger, I feel less tired (stamina), better balanced (stability) and have a great range of movement (mobility). Mike’s workouts feel as if I’ve had a very balanced session while not suffering the next day, especially if I remember to do the daily mobility program on my off days.
I’m looking forward to the new season knowing that whatever the results I am in a really healthy, fit and mobile condition.

As good as it gets
This app is hands down the best training app I’ve tried. There are a wide variety of programs all included at a monthly rate rather than most apps that charge you per program. This allows you to personalize it to yourself with recommendations from Mike based on your goals and availability. Also, the workouts are easy! Not in the fact that they’re easy work, but they are a manageable amount of time, the videos make the exercises easy to replicate, and the programs I have done so far are really conducive to a home gym that may not have all of the normal gym equipment. Finally, this thing works! Last summer I averaged 253 yards off the tee and this summer that has bumped to 279!! I haven’t incorporated speed training or any other coaching yet so that is purely from training and get stronger and more mobile. It has also jumped all of my club yardages by 10-15 yards making every hole seem like it is between 2-3 clubs shorter than previous years. I couldn’t be happier with the product.

Transformed my game
For years I believed that golf and lifting weights aren’t compatible, Mike proved me wrong. I’m not only stronger, but my mobility has improved immensely, I can now easily get into the positions that I need to and I am no longer stiff and sore after a round. The fact that I’ve gained at least 20m in distance on my drives is a mere bonus as it was never the goal. I can now go for shots that I neverp thought possible! Thanks Mike, this is right up there with the best investment that I’ve made in both my health and enjoyment of golf!

Mike your man if you have a golf fitness goal
Mike’s pretty well the most dedicated guy in this arena of Golf & Life complementary resistance training with a multi sport background and willing to spend the time looking after your personal needs although he trains the highest calibre/ advanced level players too.
Great workout program for golfers
The off-season program was great. I feel that I noticed much more flexibility and also possibly a better understanding of how power works in the golf swing thanks to the medicine ball exercises and others.
My driver distance has went from an average of about 220 to 240 which is a nice improvement and I have hit several balls in the 280 range over the past few weeks. I am definitely driving farther than ever and I just started swing speed training last week to hopefully get a little bit more. My total golf score is still hovering right around 90 which it has been for about six months or so but I do believe that will come with time as I have a whole new set of problems now (hitting the ball over the green or more offline than in the past), I just need to get my distances recalibrated. I started playing during the pandemic and have really fallen in love with the game.
I signed up for this app because I felt that needed workouts tailored to golf.

Great Results! Golf and fitness.
I started using Fit For Golf on June 28, 2022. I have followed the program diligently. I stared with the 101 program, then Golf Strong and now I am finishing Winter Strong. This app and program are awesome! I dropped my handicap from 15.4 to 9.7 last fall. I shot back to back career lows of 81/79. I’m on Ohio, so November - March are offseason. That time was spent on the Winter Strength program. I am significantly stronger and more mobile. I also play tennis and I can see the results in that as well. This spring I am hitting the ball farther than I was last fall, and we are not even in full season yet. Mike’s programs are proven and easy to follow. He and his team are very responsive and always willing to help me figure out what program to use next or how to modify it for my own needs. I will continue to be a Fit For Golf golfer!!! One of the Best Investments for Your Game
FFG has truthfully been one of the best investments for my golf game. The workouts within the app are clearly outlined depending on your level of experience and time of year (in-season vs off-season). The video instructions are also fantastic for quickly becoming comfortable with new movements and exercises. I find the ability to record reps and weight helpful as these appear in the history when you click into the exercise on the app, which allows me to progressively increase the difficulty each week. I’m currently in my second year of using FFG, and with the help of lessons, I’ve increased my distances by two clubs.

Better golf and better quality of life
The app has amazing content tailored to every level of fitness. After allowing my fitness regimen to lapse for over a year, I used Fit For Golf to get back into working out. I used to workout 5-6x/week (before kids), but needed to ease back into it after a long break. The Fundamentals program was perfect for that. In 4 months, with the Fundamentals and the Offseason programs, I have increased driver swing speed from 101mph to 111mph. I think the unheralded part of the app is the emphasis on mobility. My minor aches in my back and knees have disappeared and my rounds on the course no longer leave any residual soreness. Mike has a great product and is extremely knowledgeable. I plan to continue using these workouts indefinitely.

More Speed, Lower Handicap, Less Injury
I’ve had the fit for golf app for almost 2 years. In that time I’ve dropped my handicap from a 22 to a 6.6. I’ve increased my max club-head speed from 106 mph to 128 mph. And the isometric rehab exercises Mike included for golfers elbow got rid of a chronic pain that was keeping me from practicing. Yes, I also take lesson. Yes, I also do The Stack System. But without the physical work I’ve done with the Fit for Golf app I don’t think my progress with either would be nearly as significant. I’m a huge fan of the different programs and the ease of use.

Golf, or just power lift. You choose.
I’ve been a lifter and workout person (HIIT) for a few years (after having an epiphany during Covid). You can follow Mike’s workouts, which are great, or tailor your own with what you know, too. He has quite a bit of unique knowledge that he drops in here with respect to explosiveness, which isn’t a way that I have trained much over the years which has been a nice benefit. Add in the mobility work as well. The app works well, he works his tail off making it better, and it’s a definite positive to your life. Win, win, win.
