I have the standard non Bluetooth and The Pro Bluetooth version!!!
I didn’t like that I couldn’t change my Bag Limit on the standard version and my Grandbaby had a time remembering to SKIP over the ones we were NOT using however I loved how FAST it locks in the catch and the Big and Small fish icons!!!!
So to help my Grandbaby I purchased the Pro Series because it AUTOMATICALLY culls and all she has to do is accept the catch!!! However,, Houston we have a problem!!!! For example, my smallest 7 fish is 1.25# and I catch my 8th fish for 1.10#!!! The scale asks me if I want to replace the 1.10 for the 1.25#!!!! It’s in tournament mode therefore I have to keep the biggest catches period!!!! Now I have to help her read the numbers because she’s 6 years old and can’t honestly do it by herself BUT she really wants to be independent and she understands that’s her primary roll as my tournament partner!!!!
I called Bubba’s customer support and explained what I encountered but I got that DRY response that’s just what it does!!!! Not a care in the world, then he faked like their was a bad connection lol!!!!
I’ve invested north of $300 and the standard version I took it on the chin as my fault for not doing my homework BUT I thjnk this isn’t my fault but something a software update could possibly fix!!!
I’ll give a star for an apology and one more if an update in the future corrects the tournament Mode issue!!! It should possibly ask if we want to “Discard” a fish that’s smaller than our current bag size!!! Maybe it’s just me!!!!
