Unique and challenging… but lacking.
The game is easy to learn, difficult to master. You can see the difficulty ramp up and when you lose, you know why you lost; rather than feeling like the game is cheating you. The gameplay is simple but unique and inspired. I love the game and have played it at least a few times every week since launch. However, the game is growing stale. There has been almost no actual content added to the game since I got it. The last overall update was last year and that was the only time any content has been added. A word for the developers: please, for the love of god, don’t let this game die!Show lessI Adore This Game
This game has filled the hole in my heart left by the removal of FF Crystal Defenders from the App Store many years ago. Isle of Arrows is now one of my favorite games.
Currently I only have one request, iCloud syncing.
I just upgraded to a new iPhone & none of my progress carried over since i didn’t restore from a backup. I’ll happily play again, though some of these challenges are brutal. Thank You for this game. It’s beautifully designed & lovingly made.Show lessMasterpiece of mobile gaming
I’m including the Kingdom Rush series which I love when I say Isle of Arrows is the best game in the Apple Store. Massive replayability. Always challenging and still fun. You may not always win and sometimes it feels unfair but it’s because the randomness didn’t play out in your favor. It can be frustrating too but I want that in a great game. If I want something mind numbing download an Idle RPG game. I have deleted this game from my phone twice just so I can re-download it and play it from scratch. It’s the only mobile game that has survived on my phone since its Apple Store release. I go through multiple games a week and only 2 games have stopped my itch: Into the Breach and Isle of Arrows. This is a masterpiece.Show less
