Trust pilot

Reviews are great because they are independent from the company you are buying from. I mostly go to them to check out a company. On this occasion i didn’t when buying from appliances direct. I purchased a Bosch washing machine and the offer I saw was not given to me . And when I came to register my new washer , Bosch told me its 5 year warranty as per the advert . BUT when I had to speak to appliance’s direct they told me it was 2 years& I would have to pay to get the 5 years. So I consider this to be a way to get more money from me. Paying for something that was already included. Plus also appliances direct also did not carry out the free installation that was advertised . I wish I had just gone to a more honest company. I will never shop again with appliances direct . Being in our 70’s we were even left to unpack this really heavy machine. And plumb it in ourselves and at our age was extremely difficult.

Scam supporter

Trustpilot avoids telling the truth about current scams. Would not allow me to post the truth siting really woke “company guidelines”. Trustpilot is anything but trustworthy. In fact they are supporting the scams not preventing them.

Full fibre broadband

The engineers arrived in the scheduled time. They were efficient and clean and tidy. They asked me where the wires would’ve best to go. They were here for about an hour but there was a problem connecting the WiFi up. They promised to come back after their next job to ensure we were connected which they did. Pleased with them but not noticed a change in the speed which is very disappointing.

Honesty and Quality

I was one who Trustpilot contacted wanting more info. I was annoyed and confused about what was needed thinking it was included already. At the time that happened I was dealing with family matters. I thought I responded but not responding also was a valid reason. Anyhow fast forward and I’ve worked together with trustpilot using their guidance where to find the info needed. Once verified they got me back up and running. This may sound crazy but I have far more trust with Trustpilot than any other similar service provider. I was extremely impressed with how they literally do thorough checks and make sure things are accurate/honest and getting rid of the fake stuff. Trustpilot had instantly become my favorite place to give and read other reviews.

Serious reviewing system

I no longer see BBB or Yelp as reliable data.
Reddit is too hard to access. Trust Pilot is comprehensive and both mindful of $/combined review scores and detailed enough to deliver macro opinions. My recent review was on a 20% 3-1 star organization which sells events that most people just do once. 1 time in 5 not happy reviews shows a higher frequency of problems than I want to risk.

Removing reviews

Removes reviews for no literally 0 reason and uses the excuse, “can’t verify authenticity” a quick google search will confirm this you can’t trust, Trustpilot

Little peace of mind.

By using Trustpilot you get a little peace of mind on reviews posted by other verified users. Their vetting system allows you to get everything from the good, the bad and the ugly in an honest first person view.

In the long run their reviewing system will hopefully encourage producers, suppliers, resellers and merchants of goods and services to keep it honest and to a high standard.
