  • It really a money making game

I don’t usually leave reviews because it’s a game and yes they need to make money on it to make a living and more but for the spin the wheel thing is completely rigged how well well I spend the wheel six times and got 4 in a row the same prize 80 diamonds now I can see that if the game had made me get it two time maybe three time but even that the likelihood of that happened is literally less then 1% it’s actually 0.69% now tell me how is that possible to land on it 4x in a row it’s not the game it’s self is not well made In mechanics like there game that like money to how ever they actually let you get thing like Last war I have almost all the characters in the game now yes you might have to spend some money how ever you can get these characters with little effort and money I’m not saying give me a god tired class I’m saying let’s people get the playable characters and use them and then if they want to pay for upgrades then that’s fine but not letting people even unlock these characters is just ridiculous I refuse to pay 100’s or 1000’s of dollars to play with all the in game characters there is much better thing this game can make money on but these is really not a worthwhile game

  • Devs need to wake up and finish developing current heroes before introducing new ones

The main focus of the game is getting heroes and upgrading them to their full potential. However the have so many heroes (some of which have been around for almost a year!) that have unfinished weap skills. How do they expect us to get excited about a flood of new heroes and spend time/money on heroes when they don’t complete old ones??!!
I used to give them 5 stars, but this becoming a serious problem, and quite honestly am afraid of wasting time/money in game as this kind of dev work is what can destroy a game. They need to refocus before we lose faith in the future of the game!

  • I don’t mind the pay to win but I despise the unfair offerings

My husband got me into this game and I enjoy it very much. Both of us have spent a lot of money very rapidly and don’t quite mind. Today marked my 34th day of playing and my husband’s 63rd. We both are at VIP level 7, which means we have already spent hundreds of dollars, per person.

I would like to preface by saying that we work hard and don’t mind spending money to support the games we enjoy. I do, however, have a major issue with unfair shop offerings. If I spend the $9.99 at the monthly deal, I get less hero orbs, gold and gems whereas in my husband’s account of the same monthly deal of the same price, he will get double the gold, 30% more of the hero orbs and gems.

I do not understand the logic behind the shop offerings. Why would the same money garner one person more in game items/currency. Is it my spending habit being learned by the game’s AI to offer me less so I end up spending more because I’ve been spending about double the amount as my husband? This type of offering is beyond predatory and is utterly despicable. Shouldn’t the shop offer the same deal with the same cost across the board?

Please game developers, answer my question.

  • Fun and addicting

If you like grindy games, this is a great one. It’s a lot of fun and is pretty addicting. I’ve played every day for almost 9 months now. Lots of different activities to do in game, etc.

Why then am I only giving it 2 stars? You guessed it, extremely pay to win. Can you progress without paying a dime? Sure. But expect it to take multiple YEARS to get to the end game. And that’s if they didn’t keep adding stuff to the game. I’d venture to say it’s probably impossible to get to the end game without paying at least some money. And that’s fine if you’re into that. But the average player can’t afford the amount required to stay relevant. I’ve found a bit of a middle ground I think, balancing spending with need to progress.

Also, $10 a month for 1.5x speed is ridiculous. That should be 2x speed.

  • Way too expensive

I want to be very honest and someone who got sucked into the game. This game is very fun. Fun is not the problem. It’s actually made fairly well also. But the amount of money they request in this game is insane! I have been a gamer for a very very long time and I am fairly well to do, and for me it’s jaw dropping how expensive this game is and everything leads to payment. It’s one thing if you don’t need to spend the money but they gouge you on speed ups. But the only path that exists to free is snag city. I actually think their marketing department should be fired they are losing money as my guess. The season pass is unreasonably expensive for what you get and how much you need. My advice is take things slow and join a good guild. Otherwise you will end up spending hundreds and realizing you’re not much better for it.

  • You guys marketing team and the one who enforces it are morons

UPDATE: To put it simply, y’all are money hungry pigs. Nobody’s trying to hear the “ads, help the non payers contribute because a lot of money went into making the game” excuse. I’m quite sure you all have probably tripled what you spent making the game by now. You all are seriously making it not fun and enjoyable and are gonna lose your base. We all know the only reason y’all have almost 5 stars is because y’all boost y’all reviews me ratings. If you take that out, what would your real rating be? Give your players a fair chance or you won’t have any. ———————————————————————— I’ve been playing for quite some time at this point and at first I thought it was actually a fun free to play game that you could grind and make progress on. NOPE, just as soon as you get to the harder levels the game consistently gives you horrible power-ups or domes that does not evolve the power-up that you actually need to be effective against the increasingly difficult enemies per map level. The only way to get new choices per power-up level is by watching an ad. So, I’m sure you see where this is going. Once you progress, your gonna end up watching an ad about every 30 secs, possibly less. My thing is, if your gonna advertise as a free to play game, then don’t make your customers pay by ad spam that ends up as revenue for the game anyways.

  • Rip off

As a proud capitalist I am often times defending unpopular things companies do. Sometimes at the cost of my own relationships. Because I believe in logic over emotion. I like markets they are not perfect but they serve the consumer more so than the company. In this case with this game, either I’m all the sudden broke (I’m not) or this game is a rip off in my opinion. Everything is expensive and keeps scaling hardware and harder so there is always more to buy. You can’t just build 1 dude and win the game. It forces you to play many dudes. You can easily spend 250 bucks on a single dude if you’re smart and know how they charge. I would encourage everyone not to do this. Even if you can you shouldn’t for the benefit of others. Season passes are 50 bucks a month…. As a gamer of 30 plus years that’s more money than any game I’ve ever played and I play Korean MMOs.

  • This game isn’t free

This game is fun. Gameplay holds your attention and you can progress and level up your characters.

That said though, you’ll quickly realize you’re spending more time watching ads to optimize your upgrades than you are playing the game. You can buy the $20 option to remove these (do this).

Downstream there is no balance been paying vs free players. There is a chasm in terms of what’s available, unlocking them with time will likely take years.

You might say- “But you don’t need to pay to play!”. You’re watching ads, you are the product, and you’re paying with your time.

Outside of the runs there is a forge so you can enhance and add new capabilities to the weapons. You can get these for free, but it is a glacial pace. VERY disappointed with how slow this is. I’ve not unlocked even one yet. You need 5 unlocks to use your character’s weapon ultimate. I only know the first unlock takes months of playing to maybe get or $50.

Special event characters are similar, if they’re in adventure mode you can get them for free but special events are pay to acquire.

This balance will not change, it’s strategically set up to drive big spenders. Giving more available for free the developer would jeopardize their base. That said though, they’re probably foregoing greater revenue because engagement likely falls off for these other players with time, and their time/spend goes with them.

  • Simple and Fun

This game is amazing and fun. The ability to purchase ad free is amazing. Game changing. The ability to grow and get stronger as you progress just makes it addictive and fun.
My only complaint is that I wish they would give us other ways of getting characters like the older ones let us buy with coins, especially now that there’s 32 characters and you can really only get 9 of them progressing through the game I understand not giving us event ones or newer ones unless we earn them or pay for them, but some of the old characters should be turned over to purchase by coins

it would only benefit the developer with us being able to get more characters we would dedicate more time to the game trying to build them up and those people who can’t wait would spend more unless you want to just play the game
