Amazing with one major flaw
I think this is one of the best 3D Sonic games, at least in a while. I had fun with this game all the way through. The main drawback is the controls. During casual gameplay this isn’t really noticeable, but it is extremely apparent when playing the final challenge stage. I can’t count how many times I died to something I felt was out of my control. This isn’t a problem exclusive to touchscreen; I found these issues on controller too (to a lesser extent). The characters feel like tanks, which is frustrating when asked to make precise jumps. I may have went on this point for a while, but besides an awkward story, I really don’t see any other noticeable flaws. I may not be much of a mobile gamer, but I come back to this game every now and then. I like it a lot.
