  • App Doesn’t Auto-Start & Stop rides with iOS 18.x

    I’ve used this app for over 500 miles of rides and it recorded the rides perfectly until I updated my iPhone to iOS 18.x. Now it actually doesn’t record anything unless I stop riding to pull my iPhone out to see if it’s recording … then, oddly enough, it will start recording. I’d be happy to share more info and/or data if necessary.

    Thank you for your feedback. Auto-Recording should continue to start as long as an app-bike connection is made before the app is backgrounded on your iPhone.   • Needs Improvement

    Latest version is meant to see TQ software versions. Don’t see this. App needs a lot more functionality. Take a look at Bosch or Specialised Apps if you need ideas!

  • Login screen design fail

    If you are being safe and using an app to store long, unique and complex passwords for your various accounts, this app is useless. The password field does not allow pasting. So to use the app, your going to need to type that long password character-by-character. No thanks. I’ll pass.

    Thanks for your feedback. Login does not currently support pasting of passwords, but you can use a Password Manager to automatically populate the email address and password fields on this screen.   • So far, it’s been iffy

    I got my bike two days ago and downloaded the app yesterday I tried to create my trek account and I kept getting an error trying to get through the legal agreements page. I tried again today and I had to create an account again and then reset the password, and then verify the email, and I still got errors, but I finally made it onto the app. Now looking at the app I can’t believe it doesn’t have an odometer on the ride screen. I’ve been looking through the Settings trying to find a way to add trip and odometer but i can’t find it. So, as I said,iffy.

    Thanks for your feedback. The ride screen can be customized for Trek branded ebikes by tapping and long-holding any of the three tiles on the Ride screen. The "Distance" option under the "Others" category will show the current trip data for the recording ride. The "e-Bike Odometer" option under the "E-Bike" category will show the eSystem odometer reading when the bike is connected.   • Crashes constantly!

    Lately the app crashes in the middle of a ride almost every time and the only thing that works is for me to completely reboot my iPhone. Since the only way to see exactly how much battery power is left and what the remaining range of distance is, this is supremely frustrating.

    In addition, all my rides are labeled as being in the wrong city, even though all my location settings are correct (and the map of the ride is correct). I reported this issue several months ago and never got any response from the developer.

    Thank you for your feedback. Record Rides are auto-labeled based on starting and ending location data relative to OpenStreetMap boundaries of cities and neighborhoods. If a ride is started on the boundaries of multiple locations, it can result in varied location names.   • If there is a way, I cannot figure it out

    I rated this app at 4 stars. It would have been 5 if……..
    I use it for maintenance information ( miles risen, state of charge, etc.) since both I and my spouse have Trek electric bikes, it would be nice if both bikes would pair with the app and the dashboard would allow selection of the bike in question. It is a real PITA to have to go through the process of pairing the second bike and “losing” the first every time I want to review the other bike’s data. If that were possible, then I would rate it 5 stars.

  • Problem transfering recorded circuits from iPhone to iPad

    Thanks for your feedback. Completed Rides are currently saved to the device used to record the ride only. We will be associating ride recordings to your account in a future release so that previous recorded rides will be automatically synced across all devices. For now, rides can be manually added to your second device by using the export/import GPX file functionality in the "History" activity.   • Trek distance discrepancy

    For the last 2 rides I have done on my Trek EXe, I have seen a big difference on mileage done compared to Strava and Fitbit. Over a 20 mile ride the the trek app shows a mile more compared to the other 2 apps. Also no elevation is indicated. Otherwise a reasonable app.

    Thanks for your feedback. Trek Central requires access to the "Motion and Fitness" permission on iOS in order to calculate Elevation. Please confirm that the "Motion and Fitness" permission is enabled by checking Settings>Trek Central on your iOS device.   • Ditto turbo95 On Ap Cras

    Second successive day of unusual behavior, +SLR (Tq) w/extender. 4600 mi, LTBS just flashed firmware last week. Battery error codes prompted visit.

  • Domane+

    I have a Trek Fuel EXe and use the app and it works just fine. I now have added a Domane+ but I am unable to pair the Domane with the app. When I go into my existing app to add the Domane it recognizes the bike as “Trek21817” but when I put in the code 21817 and hit pair it doesn’t pair and keeps asking me to try again, all to no success.
