  • Best Sewing App Ever!

I took part in the testing stage of this app and knew it was going to become one of my favourite apps, but with all the updates and additions that they are constantly making this is now my favourite app ever!
So easy to navigate and so much information about my stash at my fingertips, now I can’t imagine how I lived without it!!

Thank you so much for your kind words.
  • THE app every dressmaker needs

I don’t often leave reviews for apps but feel this one deserves one. It’s so brilliant I’m thinking I’ll soon be paying for the subscription to get my extensive stash of fabric and patterns organised. It also has a place to store body measurements for several people in cm and converts to inches. I only wish it had the option to also change from $ to £/€ and UK style dates rather than US only.

Thank you for your review and kind words. You can change the currency in the settings page and dates are set by your phone's regionality settings but we will look into adding a place to manually update this in the app.
  • The perfect app for a sewist

Like many sewists, I have a lot of patterns and a lot of fabric. I don’t have a ton of space to store either, so it has been a challenge to remember what I own and where it is stored. This app not only allows you to save all of your patterns, categorized for easy retrieval, but also allows you to keep track of all your fabric. Plus, there is a place to keep projects, matching up pattern and fabric. If you have fabric left over, you can record how much of your original yardage is remaining. This is really just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what you can store, and there are fields that can be used in a way that makes sense to you. I think it is very reasonably priced for all that it can do, and I would recommend it to anyone.

  • Excellent, except…

I just downloaded this app today, and so far it looks and works impeccably. It is truly THE app for which the sewing community has been waiting! You could kill yourself to store all of this information personally curated spreadsheets and Pinterest boards or google folders (and indeed, more than one sewist said that was their process for organizing sewing data when I asked for app recommendations🤯), and have it be cumbersome and tedious to manage that info, or you could just download this app and have everything available. It is intuitive organizationally, it makes sense visually…it really works.
However. I’m concerned about the price, and/or about what’s offered if you don’t subscribe. I really want this app to make it, I really do think it’s perfect, but the subscription price is going to be prohibitive for most people, especially since the features that can truly be tested are so limited in the free version. (And something must be prohibiting most sewists from downloading and buying and loving, because I see only four reviews for a four year old app.) Only being able to store 20 fabrics or patterns or projects…we’re habitual stash builders, 20 is barely scratching the surface! I don’t think amazing apps should be free, I believe in paying for craftsmanship and an excellent product, but I think amazing apps should offer enough in their free-ness to convince the users to go for the premium version.

  • Brilliant organiser

Love this app. So intuitive to use, has all the categories you might want to sort out your fabrics and patterns. No need to end up head first in a big box of fabric wondering what’s down the bottom. All there at your fingertips. Since adding all my material to the app I’ve made up a few projects from fabrics I bought years ago - it’s so good to have them out in the world and not languishing forgotten. Love that you can sort and filter by all kinds of categories from fibre content to colour to date purchased to pattern type. Superb! And a lot of fun to use.

  • A little bit of me

This app combines two of my favourite things. Sewing and organisation. It’s so easy to use and quick to add items to. I love that you can set up projects with your fabric and chosen pattern because the amount of times I forget why I ordered a fabric by the time I come to make something. The team are also super quick to respond to questions which I love. Fantastic app!!

  • Godsend for the sewing community

If you have a robust and active fabric or sewing pattern “curation habit”, run, don’t walk, to try out this app. The developers are covering all the dreams like connecting pattern and fabric with project planning, measurements, adjustments - even matching colour thread is recordable!
    Intensely helpful.

  • A sewing essential!

I was sceptical of this app as I’ve tried a few different ways of tracking my stash, my sewing projects, my patterns - none of them have worked. But this app does all of these and more! It’s quick to log your fabric (length, composition, store purchased from, where you’ve stashed it, if prewashed it!) and patterns - even able to link to your pdf patterns. And you can log your projects! The number of times I’ve bought fabric with a purpose in mind and totally forgotten what I intended to make with it. You can also make a note of adjustments you made.
This app fast became a sewing essential to me!

  • What I’ve been waiting for!

Stash Hub combines the main stash tracking needs for a sewist - fabric, patterns, projects, people, and shopping list! Adding new items is easy, and i love the display when building a project that is linked to certain fabric and pattern(s) because it displays the featured fabric and pattern to see at a glance. I had tried building something like it myself using a database software, but this app does what I was doing and more in a graceful, attractive way my database didn't do. The design is clean and consistent between sections, with both functionality and finesse. The design team is responsive to requests and bug reports as this is a new app that is still expanding, and I am looking forward to growing with them.

Bottom line is, if you sew, you need this app!

  • Best app ever!

I have a big fabric stash which can be quite overwhelming and hard to keep track of - I’m not particularly organised either! This app allows you to add the fabric and patterns so easily, and you can just check them again on your phone, without having to dig out the fabric physically to check what you have! This means better planning and you actually use what you have! A lifesaver and I will be using this for life!
