Reviews of Z3 Control 2

  • $400 brick

This app is needed to connect or reconnect Elac speakers to a network. Z3 speakers in my case. Think about that for a second, then go search for a review of this app that doesn’t feature someone pulling their hair out. Then search for a review of the Z3 that doesn’t mention connectivity issues. If you can get Elac support to respond to a request for support, at all, I’d love to hear how you did it. A $400 brick that cannot be connected because the free app doesn’t work is what I have. More than once after trying to reconnect it to the network I’ve been tempted to throw it through a window. Also, if you have a Z3 in the kitchen, running the microwave will turn off the wi-fi connection. Truly remarkable.
  • Same old problems

I cannot wrap my head around why Elac can’t figure this out. This new app worked for one day. One. Single. Day. Since then just a spinning wheel of disappointment. For the amount of money I paid, I should be able to access it from an app. Any app. I don’t even care if it’s an elac app. Just give me something so I can adjust the equalizer with even half the reliability of this app.
