Ok protocol, incomplete app
Video playback and the automatic timer get out of sync, timer widget is unruly and loud, and the assessment tool doesn’t allow you to simply view all your data—instead it relies on flashy and oversimplified data visualizations to add perceived value.
As for the programming (and I am only reviewing the weightlifting mobility program), the movements are theoretically great, but have simply not led to any progress in my 3 weeks of trying the program. To be fair, I have missed some days, but am consistent enough that at least some measurable progress should be apparent. On the contrary: I have lost mobility since starting. This is partly due to measurement reliability; I likely have not gained or lost a measurable amount of mobility.
I continue to use the program, however, because I do *feel* great after doing the daily movements. It has introduced a lot of new stretches and warm-up movements into my vocabulary, while allowing me to avoid the endlessly complex shotgun approach that comes from cherry picking ideas from the internet.
This product would be ideal as a book rather than as an app. Apps should add value that traditionally resources cannot.
Why is there no audio?
Response from developer
Try the mute button on your phone it’s been fixed in the new version that’s about to go live as quite a few people didn’t realise that having your phone on silent would also disable the App audio.
Won’t start

All fixed - it was a CloudFlare issue.

Hi Jimmo, The new version of the App was only released on Friday evening (5th April) and to the best of our knowledge now works perfectly. I’d like to try and get some further information off you about your experience, would you ping me an email please? jeff@mobilitymanual.com
App is absolutely worthless

Hi, Please can you drop me an email so we can assist in rectifying the situation, many thanks. jeff@mobilitymanual.com
Great mobility results - UI is solid but not great
Great information and content, app could be better
What would be really useful is an audible countdown to the movement changes so I’m not having to keep looking at the screen every few seconds. Additionally I can’t do it when playing music in headphones because every time the movement changes it pauses whatever is playing. As someone who uses the app on my own in a busy gym I’d like to have the option to play my own music.
Not great!
