  • No audio unit (AUv3) support makes this amazing pad app worthless

I really really enjoy the sounds of this app! The fact that it can do major, neutral and minor settings for each key set it apart from all the rest, and the sounds are just amazing for my worship sets. The only thing that it is missing is AUv3 support so I can use it in AUM, Camelot Pro, Logic, Loopy Pro or any of the many amazing iOS DAWs/Hosts. Autopad can do this and is also universal for iphone, ipad AND Mac. But again the sounds from this app far surpass Autopad. I have bought your sound pack and I do use it for my worship sets, but adding audio unit and universal support will take it to the next level. I will gladly change this review to a five star when this is implemented. Thanks for listening!

  • Brilliant

Absolutely the best pads app out there. I’ve been following Aerospace for a while now and everything they put out is so carefully crafted. I just got this app and within seconds was able to figure out enough to get started with a live set. Under two minutes and I had the extra sound pack downloaded AND cued up, and was adjusting the crossfade. Extremely intuitive and user-friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

  • Great app, inter-app audio connectivity please

I absolutely love this app, but the most important feature that is missing in my opinion is audio connectivity with DAWs or instrument/plugin hosts so i can actually record my sessions with it. IAA or AUv3 would really make this app complete for iOS musicians, so that it can be used inside AUM, Logic Pro or any other iOS DAWs alongside your performances. I would even pay extra for such a feature.

  • This is the one!

After trialing various pad apps for my iPad over the last couple of months, I’ve returned to this one as my choice for permanent use. Fantastic sounds and very intuitive to use. I added a volume pedal to the chain for even more control. The one thing that would make it perfection for me is the ability to advance through the set list with one of the many foot switches made for iPads. Sometimes when I try to quickly tap the next song by hand while playing my guitar I miss it and have to tap again. Oh well, I guess the actual pedal they offer would solve that problem so gotta start saving. Outstanding app! Update 9/3/24: So I was so happy with this app that I did save up for the physical Atmosphere pedal. What an amazing piece of gear. With the tap of a toe I can either pick a pad and key on the fly or scroll through a set list with ease. This has been a total game changer for me and the patience of the developer with all of my questions has been superhuman. Go get one!

I was thrilled to read this review and hear your experience! Thanks a ton for sharing. So glad to hear you landed on this app— truly an honor. I’m going to keep making it even better for you. Appreciate the kind words and feedback!
  • Perfect concept and works great

I love this app, we use it when we lead worship at camps and it’s just my wife and I. I think the only bad thing I don’t like about the app is that it will not work if you don’t have internet. We have been at a couple camps where there was no cell service or wifi, and the app simply does not open and it crashes everytime. But if I drive into town and get cell service, it launches fine and works great. So it leads me to believe it does not work without cell service… which is disappointing because it is a paid app.

If this issue gets addressed it would be a 5-star app, so I hope it gets fixed.

It’s supposed to work offline; I’ll look into this and get it corrected!
  • Sounds great but not always working

The app itself is great, but many times while playing a song I realized the pad doesn’t work. You have to restart the app. I even tried to delete the app and reinstall it. Not quite working. Sometimes it works perfectly sometimes I have issues like this so I cannot rely on it on a stage. Fix the bugs, I would love to give it a 5⭐️. (Iphone 15 pro max iOS 17.4.1)

Should be fixed now! Sorry about that issue!
  • Great - Needs a few tweaks

Great sounds and layout. Randomly completely shuts off on iPad during set. Crossfade needs adjustment as it will (if set too high) cause a click/re-start in the algorithm however if set too low it does not allow a seamless transition (crossfade) between key change. Keep up the great work.
  • Into the heavens…

There is so much to like about this app and the entire product line from Aerospace Audio. I can’t begin to express how professional and awe inspiring these ambient pads are while leading worship at church. It takes everything to a completely new level. As well, having everything queued up and in place with a user-friendly interface!

Until Atmosphere arrives… a few suggestions for the app:

Can you please add a preview section on the Soundpacks tab for each sound? Another thought is to press/hold on the Live slot to assign directly from this tab.

Can you please add an option to have up to five sounds in the Live tab?

Can you please add the color icon next to the sound name in the selection list when adding a new song under Setlist?

    Thank you!!!

  • Not bad!

The audio quality sounds great. Not used live yet. I did notice while in the “live feature” you can only have 3 of the 5 rounds which is frustrating to have to take one out and put one in the 3 to be able to compare and play. Other pad apps seem to have a little more customization ability but that could be a good or a bad thing depending on what a person is looking for. Over all I plan on having it set up a head of time with the set list so my issues shouldn’t be a big deal but maybe could be addressed. Thank you.

Hey thanks for the suggestions! I take feedback very seriously. I defaulted to 3 patches in the live view so that they are more accessible. 5 gets a little small on the phone. I’ll explore options in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience! -Isaac
