Fun and quick!

Just one puzzle a day, which, without cheating, takes less than 2 minutes. Compare how you fare to people from all over the world, if that’s your thing.

Great Fun (but so very humbling)

I hope history will remember this game as well as it remembers history. Or something. Hey Siri, make that sound better

Thanks for the kind words Rwisaak! I can't begin to describe how much a rating and a review like this means to a small time quiz app like Krono and to me personally. I'm really glad you're enjoying it. And hey, not sure what the original text said, but Siri did a great job. ;-) All the best, Daniel @ Krono

Excellent Game!

I really enjoy playing this every day. The facts I learn are so interesting and often things I’d never thought about before.

Hi Parentof3Terrors! You know when a sometimes you have a slump and you start thinking “what’s the point really…”? In my case I have these thoughts from time to time when it comes to Krono. It’s hard getting traction and have people notice your game (and labor of love). But then you get this kind of review and THATS why I’m doing this. You made my day with your review and this is exactly what I wanted with Krono: having players comeback for a short time everyday and also hopefully learn something new or spark a curiosity around an event, invention or person. Thanks for the review, hope you’re doing well and see you in Krono! /Daniel - Parent of 2 Terrors

Interesting and fun

This is a simple but really nice idea. It’s interesting to find things happened at s as completely different time to when you thought! If I had one complaint it would be that is like to do it more frequently, but that’s a minor issue.

Thanks for the kind words Grizzlefur! Really glad you're having the same interesting experience as we do when we stumble upon certain events and persons. The Daily Challenge is once per day and meant to be something you can play quickly and then go about your day, and that's free to play everyday. As a new player you get 10 free tickets that you can use for 10 games anytime you like. If you want to continue after that the cheapest way would be to start a monthly subscription (it's pretty cheap!) and you can play as much as you'd like during that month. In the settings we have a shortcut to where you manage your subscriptions so canceling the subscription is just a few easy taps away.  Or if you don't like subscriptions there's a one time payment option that's cheaper then say purchasing a physical board game. Best part: Krono will continue to update and the board game won't. Anyways. We are super thrilled about your review and rating – thank you so much! All the best, Daniel @ Krono

Fun history trivia game

Krono Trivia is an engaging and challenging trivia game, featuring a large question database, and intuitive gameplay. A nice addition might be being rewarded with a free ticket occasionally. Perhaps for scoring in the top ten on the daily challenge.

Response from developer

Thank you for the review! Rewarding players with tickets or lifeline depending on achievements are on my roadmap! Hoping to get to it soon. Thank you so much for playing!

Fun history trivia

Krono is a great way to have fun while testing out my knowledge of history. I really enjoy the daily challenges and the app is really easy to use. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys history trivia, especially since you can try to get top rank in the leaderboards and get proof that you’re the ultimate history buff!

Thank you for the kind words Max! Keep playing!

High speed trivia

Good game for trivia lovers and history buffs but over too soon. You can pay the monthly fee and get more chances and games and to thank Daniel for his work in creating and maintaining the game. If you’re good enough it’s worth it.

Response from developer

Thank you for the great review and the kind words Cheraj! It's an honor having you play Krono. All the best, Daniel @ Krono

Not great

Nice idea but badly designed site and an annoying refresh time for the daily challenge ( ie not midnight ) would not buy

Response from developer

Hi incohontas! I’m sorry you don’t like Krono. The site is basically just a description of Krono and a link to the App Store. I’d love to hear more about your experience of Krono, you can email me at hi@kronotrivia.com. I sure would like the feedback to make Krono (and the website) better. Also sad to hear that you think the daily challenge update time is annoying. My intention is to have the challenge go live at the same time for every player globally. So I had to choose a time. I choose noon Swedish time. Krono is developed here in Stockholm, Sweden. I’d love to hear from you via email and perhaps you can try Krono again; and you might enjoy it and hopefully update your review and rating. Wish you a great week, Daniel @ Krono

Cannot be played without paying first

Tried all the things and all of them threw up beg screens, insisting on payment up front. Oh well.

Response from developer

Hi bobDowns! The daily challenge, the big section at the top of the “Play”-screen is free to play everyday. I guess you must have missed it and I hope you give Krono another try!  The Daily Challenge is the main focus of Krono and will always be free to play. It’s meant to take 30 seconds or so and hopefully a player will learn something new and come back tomorrow and play again. All other games modes are for those who want to continue playing some more.

Falls victim to the subscription model

It’s a great concept, and well done but as with many apps these days, is a subscription model app. This is not something I would pay a monthly sub for. If this game cost a one time fee of even $5-10 total I’d pay for it. As it is, there are alternatives to this out there playable for free in your browser: Which I Know Is The Really Incredible Very Interesting App.

Response from developer

Hi Tom! Thanks for the review! I know a subscription model isn't always the most attractive model for players; that's why there's also a lifetime/one-time purchase option to choose from under "View plans". I know subscriptions isn't always the most attractive model for players but for small indie developers it could mean a more steady income that helps with development and planning. I do hope though that you come back for the daily challenge that are available for free every day and perhaps try Krono a month. We've made it especially easy to cancel your subscription with a shortcut in settings right into where you manage your Apple subscriptions! Wish you all the best and a fantastic week! /Daniel @ Krono
