There are limitations!!
I’ve just lost all my reviews and TBR😭😭!!! I switched off the iCloud for this app and everything in the app is gone!! It doesn’t require an email/fb account.
I like that there’s spice level, tear level and humour level. But I hope it can add the plot level as well. However, some of books cannot be found on the app but you can use the ‘add a book’ function to add books that’s not shown on the app. But yeah, I am devastated when I found out all of my reviews and my Read books are gone🥲Show lessLamb_Chong
Love the app but…
I’m a big fan of the app. I love the look of it. I love how it handles. I couldn’t ask for any difference. Although, I don’t know if it’s just because I couldn’t find it or if there isn’t one. There’s no way to make an account or save progress? I recently got a new phone. And after redownloading the app all of my data was gone. Having a way to save data to an email or even to my Apple ID or something would be great. I want to use the app but I feel put off at the idea that I could lose my data so easily because there isn’t a save feature. Have I missed something?Show lessRG_rif

Hi, We highly recommend backing up everything to your iCloud account. This will ensure that everything is saved and can transfer over to a new device. This will also enable syncing between devices if you’re using on an iPhone and iPad. No account necessary 😊Cost some money if want pro

I absolutely loved this at first and even bought the year worth of the pro version.
However, my first issue was that my goodreads import wouldn’t work, so after spending hours trying I contacted the email and got no reply. I didn’t mind too much though.
The biggest issue was after half of my year subscription my phone crashed and in buying another one (iPhone) and transferring everything, none of the data transferred to the app. I again, contacted the help email but got zero response which is not acceptable. I pay for a pro version, and I don’t track my books anywhere else so I have no idea what books I’ve read or what rating I gave them for the whole year.Show lessJaydeKnight22
4 Stars - Love the App, but Disappointed by Missing Books
I've been using this app for a while and absolutely love it for keeping track of all the books I've read and rated. It's been my go-to for discovering new reads and revisiting old favorites. However, I recently ran into a frustrating issue that has made me hesitate to use it as frequently.
One day, out of the blue, a significant number of the books I had rated and saved to my shelf disappeared. I had around 160 books rated, and suddenly, that number dropped to just 69. It was disheartening to lose so much of my reading history, especially when I was trying to find a book I had already rated but couldn't remember the title.
I still think this is a fantastic app with a lot of great features, but I hope the developers can address this issue. It's a bit discouraging to invest time into curating my library only to see it mysteriously shrink. I really want to keep using the app as I always have, but I’m hesitant until I can trust that my books will stay where I put them.Show lessAlmost maybe almost
It could be so good!
I was really interested in an app to keep track of my tbr list, however after searching for a few books I noticed how limited the books have currently been add in to the library (none that I searched for came up, but I could add them). I uploaded my Goodreads library (over 900 books), which was quite easy but found majority didn’t have covers or books details so spent some time updating the book profiles. I have signed up for the 7days free trail (to eventually pay annually as it works out at about 55p a week) but now it keeps crashing and closing the app.
This app has great potential, I think it needs more features to justify the subscription fee because I think I will be cancelling before the 7days are over as the extras are ok but nothing money worthy and the basic features are perfectly fine. I have noticed as well I didn’t need to create a profile, so its makes me wonder will there be eventually so you can add friends etc.
Its one to keep an eye on as they develop it more but right now seems to need a lot of work and tweaks.Show lessClaraBeans17
All my data gone. No response from dev team
I lost the lists of over 500 books, reviews and ratings from this app suddenly. All my read books and tbr over 2023 and 2024. No response from the team via the in app contact/report bug email, or person on social media who was still posting Instagram stories but ignoring comments. App is glitchy and buggy at the best of times. They are pushing for paid subscription now too. Do not recommend.

The app IS backed up on iCloud! There is no easily visible way to back it up/ restore it via the app itself and I cannot find another way. But good job blaming the consumer instead of accepting that your app is sub par. Still haven't replied to my email/bug report.Show lesseep8

I was loving this app until all of my data got deleted today. I put hours of work into inputting all of my books, rating, reviewing and tracking everything, just for it to be wiped one day. And before you go and comment that I should save the data to the iCloud so it doesn’t happen again (which is what you have commented under all of the similar reviews to mine), this has not been an issue with any other tracking-type app I have. Bugs and inconveniences
I usually love this app but I’m getting beyond frustrated with it. The little thing being the pop up every time I open the app telling me to turn on notifications. I don’t want or need to do stop telling me to. The big thing is that twice now the app has completely cleared itself of everything I put in it. My TBR, my bookshelf, currently reading, EVERYTHING gone. The first time was apparently because I offloaded it for storage and had no way of knowing that that would clear everything. The second time was for absolutely no reason. I didn’t offload it or do anything to the app other than add a book to my goal a few days before. This is extremely frustrating since it’s hard to remember everything I’ve read or wanted to read and add it back into the app. Shopping for a new bookshelf app.Show lesssadieann22
