This is a casual game that really surprised me in a good way. It’s easy to pick up, and there are no repetitive tutorials in the game. The freedom level is pretty high – besides the main quests, you can also explore the open world to enhance your cabin and campsite. My progress is at 9/10 right now. The big dragon is a mystery, and there’s also a large door outside the campsite that’s locked, and I have no idea how to open it.
As you go further, you’ll get small side quests every day. They’re really creative and sometimes help you understand the game world and its backstory better. Of course, there are some bugs. The most common one I’ve encountered is when you enter the underground passage using three old coins, and then the screen freezes when you’re mining. You can’t pause the game or load a save; the only option is to restart. But when you restart, the game assumes you’ve completed the one-minute mining countdown, even though you haven’t. This bug happens especially often when mining with a green partner, so I think the issue might be with that character.
I hope the developers take this into account and send some extra coins to our game inbox! Coins are really hard to gather. But overall, I’m very satisfied with the game. I’d give it a 9.5 out of 10.
