Confusing
I got the app so my daughter could see step by step how to solve problems but I can’t figure out how to make it do that. It just keeps giving written directions?!! And you can’t take pictures of problems either. And the basic calculator they provide doesn’t have all the symbols and stuff my daughter needs to use to solve problems. I even tried simple addition problems and still no animation!!! Don’t waist your money!!Military movie lover

We’re also working on a major update that will include the ability to scan problems with the camera, cover additional math topics, and support more calculator symbols. Found this app after being recommended for it in HasebaCalc. I don’t normally write reviews, but the way it walks you though the steps is incredible. Not to mention the actual solving. Very well made app.betterntf

Love how it shows the steps to help understand how it’s done and very helpful for my son to see the steps to make it easier for him to understand. He’s in 7th grade and trying to get the concept of pre algebra, very nice calculatorEphraimIsrael

Was great untill added paywall
animath was great before with the animated explanations but now they added a paywall in the update. i don't think they know a lot of struggling students need an app like this that can give them a good explanation and they can't afford to pay for it, plus it used to be free. very disappointed and hope they change it soon.ray_3141592
Keep this in mind if you used it before
I recommend you not installing the latest version of Animath in case you want to use the app totally free without any payments, unless is not compatible. If you want to support the creator that’s great, but if you can’t afford to pay then don’t do it. Just keep in mind that you will not receive the latest upgradesErikaLous

When I first got this app and saw no reviews saying that you had to pay to use, I had high hopes. After I started using it, my prayers were answered, it’s COMPLETELY FREE! I’ve been searching for a free math app like this for years, and I finally found one. As a high schooler who has had math teachers who don’t know how to teach, this app is a huge help! I’ve always been slow to learning and solving math problems, and this app explains it so well and so much better than my teachers ever could.
