  • Performance Quality issues

It’s close the original copy, but I couldn’t ever seem to get to the orange on my first test. On the other hand, when playing the original (with the same sensitivity settings as the AA version) I WAS able to get to the orange on my first go in 6 minutes. But no matter how many times I tweaked the settings, compared sensitivity to the my settings on the original, I could never compensate for what appears to be a huge input lag, not so huge that it would bash on a newcomer, but players prior to this version will definitely be put off my the quality in the swipe sensitivity.
  • Great game, but a lot of bugs.

As I was playing this game I was really enjoying it until the sensitivity of the hammer went out of control. It’s not completely unplayable now but it takes the original mechanics and gameplay of it making it something else then it’s supposed to be. Though, I only recently had this happened so I hope maybe later on the game will start working again.

This game, when you stop and actually listen to the narrator, this game can actually be really calming. The point of this game is simple; get over it. Many people, even when they do get over it, I feel as if they overlooked the main intention of the game. It’s struggle is what makes the game enjoyable. Of course to really understand the purpose of this game, you probably need to play it yourself to get the message.

I recommend this game and have given it 4 stars.
  • I love it…but there is issues

I love this game and it is super fun. It’s challenging and it gets you angry and angrier every time you fall, which motivates you to get back up. I definitely recommend it. But shoutout to the ✨ D E V E L O P E R S ✨ because I need them to read this. I play the game, I get really far in and accomplished, and I have to go to get food or something like that. So I find a good spot and I leave the game. When I come back, (sorry if this is detailed but I am a detailed person :) I press on the game, the Arcade logo does it’s intro thing, I see the loading screen with the guy in the pot with the hammer, and then all I see is a black screen. It doesn’t load in, and for some reason I can press the pause button. But that’s all I can do now. I can’t play the game anymore without deleting it and restarting all my progress. PLEASE fix this.
  • My Review (fun game btw)

This game is really fun, but it’s a challenge:
I love this game but there’s something’s that could be changed, like it starts how way to hard. I have barely even played for two days and I can’t even get passed the third part (where you climb up the pipe and the rocks) it’s an overall enjoyable game but i do have couple more thing that you can change, maybe have online modes where you can race people online, and also maybe, change the style of music bc k don’t really like the style of music that is in the game, my style of music vary’s from LANY (myFavorite I would totally encourage yall to listen to them) to Def leopard, to the 1975, to Lauv and Novo Amor and Goth Babe, etc. but anyways I would totally recommend playing this but it’s starts out hard which isn’t bad it just makes me want to throw my phone. Anyways thank yall for listening to this, fun gaming!
  • Amazing game with a few bugs

I personally love this. I’ve already beaten it like 5 times and it’s really challenging but there are two main bugs that are annoying. Sometimes when I exit the game my sledge hammer gets stuck in the ground and I have to open and close it a few times for it to be fixed. The second one is I cannot start a new game. Whenever I beat the game and make it through the credits and then press new game it goes to black and when I close it and reopen it it just goes to black. Other than that great game would recommend.
  • Great game but…

As of writing this I am currently at the bucket. I am having this glitch where I literally cannot do anything because Diogenes (the guy in the cauldron) constantly tries to get on top of the bucket without me touching the screen and then pushes me off. Like pushes the side of the bucket. I can’t explain it better than that and I basically controls the hammer. I straight up can’t do anything.

Also right after the cardboard boxes where you are at the stairs with the chair and camera. Right on the bottom where the stairs meet I got my hammer stuck there and the first time it glitched me out and basically restarted me (but I easily got back cuz of the amount of times I fell before that) but the second time I used the glitch to my advantage. I was in the middle of probably being sent back to the beginning and then I shut off the game and went back onto it. It got me to right before the anvil and hat. Thanks for the boost glitch Ig..

But the bucket part for me is probably near impossible because of the fact Diogenes wants the bucket instead of the cauldron. Btw I’m realizing this sounds fake but I feel like I’m the only person with this issue. I can’t find anything about it. It’s done it every time I get the hammer onto the bucket. It attempts to do it but then fails but I seen it successfully get onto the bucket only to push himself off.
  • Attention Devs Apple Or Bennet Fody Himself

The Game Is Over All Amazing Especially Since It Is Controller Supported But, There’s One Bug There Is ALWAYS A BUG I Used To Be Able To Play With No Delay Nothing And Then The Bug Every Time I Try And Play It Is A Just A Black Void You Hear The Background Noises And You Would Drag Your Finger Across The Screen To See If There Was Any Response But,Nothing,Nothing Happens At All I Would’ve Given This Game 5 Stars But I Cannot Even Play The Game I Will Resubscribe To Arcade After Apple Or Bennet Fody Himself Fixes This Game I Will Gladly Resubscribe To Arcade After Anyone ANYBODY Fixes This Bug. best regards tealizard

Edit: Before i Unsubscribed I Beat The Game And I Ended Up Keeping Apple Arcade
  • No terrible but not a good mobile port

I played this game on PC a long time ago, although difficult as its meant to be i beat the game. Fast forward to now I saw the game was on Apple Arcade and I thought it would be funny to play through it again. Welp…. No. The controls on mobile compared to pc is just sad. And I understand it’s going to be different because mobile is touch screen, but i also expected the game to actually be playable and not to just be stuck on the same spot because the hammer keeps glitching and throwing me off of where i get to. I am currently stuck in the same place which is pretty much the beginning. So Originally I would of happily giving this over the top frustrating game 5 stars due to my experience previously but this one gets 2. Players beware this trend of porting as much over to mobile devices is just a grand example of the money motivated gaming era we are in and its even more sad when they refuse to make the port a even half way decent one. But all in all I will always be a fan of getting over it and thats why this was so frustrating.
  • Hammer gets stuck

It’s a good game but one thing one time i was really far in the game with a very long times worth of progress but I open the game and my hammer is stuck. And since it saves everything it wouldn’t come out. And I had to restart the entire game. I still haven’t made it anywhere near where I was.- update. It still lets me edit the review and right we’re I almost remade my progress it got stuck in a wall. After two weeks of loading it up to a black screen I am greeted to another bug. It’s a fun game but I wish I could enjoy it without my hammer being physically unmovable and me wanting to claw my eyes out. Please fix this
  • Great game,

I have read countless one star reviews about this game by people who know what they are going to experience going in, they loose lots of progress and leave a one star review. As long as you change your settings a bit I have experienced that the controls are fine and if you turn the graphics up the game is beautiful. If you are someone who becomes easily frustrated or raged, the game is not for you. However it’s an amazing game and symbolic of life. Restarting is harder then doing something the first time. Personally this game is an amazing game but bottom line is it is not for everyone.
