Avoid purchasing flash drive
The other users were correct. The drive was incompatible with my iPhone. It kept registering “error” when trying to use it. Waste of money.
Colossal waste of time
Brand new iphone 14. Installed app directly from app store. Recognized drive when inserted, but every action (create folder, copy pictures, etc) resulted in an error. Boxing up drive and returning, deleting useless app.
Works ok but could use many improvements
Overall the app does its job of letting you save files from the drive to your iPhone. But there’s a couple of things that could improve the experience greatly.
One is to add thumbnails for the videos (currently only the pictures have thumbnails). I transfer a lot of videos and they have very similar file names, so it’s very difficult to distinguish them in the file explorer since they don’t have thumbnails.
I would also like the file info to show the length of the video, that would help differentiate the different files.
Lastly one thing I would like them to change is a feature that happens when you playback a video. If you llay a video and watch like 10 seconds of it and then back out, and then select the video again to play it again, it pauses it and displays a message asking if you want to resume watching where you started.
This might be useful for hour-long videos, but it gets really annoying if your constantly watching videos that are just a few seconds long. This feature really isn’t necessary since you can jusy scroll to the part of the video you want to see, it’s not that big of a deal. I would like it if there was a setting to turn of this feature.

Not the best choice
I bought this app to and the flash drive to make video storage easy. The app doesn’t let me use my iPhone SE’s camera app. Instead, it provides a camera with just record and stop capabilities. I can use the flash drive as a regular flash drive on my PC, so not a total waste. Without this watered down app, My iPhone doesn’t see the flash drive. I don’t recommend it. Also it uses a codec no longer supported by Microsoft. You have to buy it for $1. Not a big deal, but it shows how dated this app is.

Horrible
Do not use this! I lost 2 days of photos gone cant find. Shows they are there but they can’t be seen. No response from developers
Similar issue as previous reviewer.
Had similar issue as Houkmauf. Everything seemed to be working, loaded thousands of my photos onto device, then I started getting an error code with every photo. So I plugged into a computer and started to transfer into a separate folder to see if that would help, said everything was transferred into said folder. Guess what? Only a very small amount of the photos were in there. The device’s storage is still reflecting that all of the thousands of photos are on there. I can’t find a trash bin or anything through the app to clear and start over. Beyond frustrated.
Contacted support about restoring device to factory settings somehow but I’m not hopeful that I’ll hear back. The app support website listed won’t load. Seems like it would have retained the files that didn’t error out if I hadn’t moved them, but the whole thing seems buggy/flawed now. Hours of work and patience wasted.

Doesn’t work
Garbage app. Waste of time ordering an external that needs this
Why are people rating this so low?
I bought the BLANBOK+ USB stick off of Amazon and this works perfectly fine. Transferred a 10GB video in about 10 minutes from my phone to the USB, and off loaded onto my PC without any issues
100% Useless
This won’t work on my iPhone. Waste of time. I wish I could go back 15 years to when technology did what it was supposed to do. Save. Copy. Paste. Move. Delete.
Not recognized by iPhone
I originally got this for my Tesla Model 3. It couldn’t read the device.
No problem, “I’ll just use it with my iPhone”, I thought.
Opened Files app and it doesn’t recognize this USB drive… The app seems OK, but ultimately this device isn’t working for what I need. I don’t want to be trapped into their Blanbok+ app…
