Offline maps not really offline
The app gives you the option to download offline maps to use where you do not have 4g or 3g. But to open the map you need to go through screens where it needs 4g or 3g so basically you cannot really reach the offline map. I wonder if any of the developers ever used this app on top of the mountain where you need it most.Show lessKlingon88

Hi Klingon88, thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. Whilst the maps and itinerary can be downloaded and accessed offline with no mobile signal, there are some areas of the map which do require a data connection at present. We are have reviewed the core sections of the app needed for on-trip information and for navigation to ensure that as much information is available offline as possible, and that it's much easier to access this info too. We will be releasing changes to this in the coming months. We hope you get opportunity to try out our improvements on another Macs trip in future.Its all German to me!
App was working fine but suddenly its all in German! Fine for our German friends but not if you don’t read the language! Please sort it out!mourne rambler

Sorry to hear you had problems with the language setting changing in the app. This has affected a small number of our users and our developers have been working hard to resolve this. In the meantime, the language can always be amended manually via the Settings / Einstellungen on the main menu.No maps
My account won’t show my maps. Have reported this to Macs but I just get a standard email saying, don’t worry, you’ll have your maps in time for your trip. That’s not helpful. Ppl want to study their maps in advance.1M1B

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear you had issues with your maps prior to your trip. There were some initial teething problems with maps in the app for a small number of customers but these have now been resolved.Totally inaccessible
Since the overnight update we are unable to access our trip data. Thanks Macs. One of the reasons we booked was to have all the info to hand. Can’t even log in to your website says email and password incorrect.Buggsiehb

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We did have some early teething problems when the app first launched, but these were quickly resolved and many of our customers have been enjoying the app throughout the season. We hope you have another opportunity to try the app out with us again soon.Wrong maps 🫤
I’m sure this app is a great benefit but unfortunately the wrong route has been loaded to my profile, I’m journeying this weekend but I’m now going to be unavailable to use the app, as thus far no one is responding to me via email.
I will obviously update this review if I get provided the correct maps but otherwise it’s a pointless app in its present state.Show lessStarWeep
