Easy access to facilities and easy to unlock without constantly keying in access codes.
I was so skeptical when I saw the reviews!
I did not want yet another app on my phone and when I saw the mostly 1-star reviews do this I was reluctant to even try it. However, I have to say, it worked 100% fine from the minute I got it. It was easy to set up (the lady in the store showed me what to do). And it works perfectly to let me in/out of the storage place. I wonder if most people who have a good experience with the app never think to leave a review because it just works as it should. Therefore the reviews might give a skewed perspective if only those who have challenges choose to leave one.

App keeps freezing
Pain that shurgard has deactivated all keyboard entries requiring app only to access units. Not everyone has a smart mobile phone. Secondly the app keeps freezing. Sometimes have to reinstall app just to get access

I was very dubious after seeing the awful reviews on this app, thinking oh blimey is this going to be a nightmare. But I have to say we have had no issues at all - very easy and straightforward to use and set up. I suppose if the signal connectivity at the storage you are using is no good that will cause issues. But we have found it to be nothing short of fantastic so far.

Can’t access account
I’ve had 7 different login codes sent to me & not one of them work. I thought it would be an easy thing to set up but clearly not. Shurguard need to sort it out.
nightmare
nightmare. they have an app that doesn't work. they made me addicted to storage. I used the app to open the gate, to start the elevator. and after 30 minutes I couldn't leave storage because the app forced me to confirm the new regulations. it was late at night, I had 5% battery. worst customer service ever. the storage manager is very rude

Can’t login
App doesn’t function at all. I cannot even login to the app, despite the fact I’m using the code given to me on the invoice they sent to my email, apparently that code doesn’t match my email address so I can pay my invoice. Totally useless app and will no doubt cause me to receive a late fee if I can’t figure out how to pay it soon.

Shurgard, please replace the developer/ management
As of writing this review I have been sat in my car for the past half hour trying to make this app work and can’t have access to my unit
I have restarted my phone twice and reinstalled the app, and app still not working - and thus cannot have access to my storage
I have meeting for which I require some of items in storage for- this extremely unacceptable
Please don’t offer service that is not reliable/ doesn’t work- get more capable developer team to handle this project - this is central to customer engagement and you are failing terribly
May have to move to a different competing service if I can’t access the unit I am paying
