Been looking for a looooooong time to find a game to replace brave frontier. And while this isn’t exactly what i was looking for, I can say with absolute seriousness that this nagging itch of mine has finally been scratched!Freakadoshiz
Less And Less Non-Whale Friendly
I’ve been playing this game for six months. It was one of the best games I had played at the time I started. Since then, updates have rebalanced toward heavy spenders leaving those who spend, but not incredibly, and F2P increasingly left behind. New game features are punishingly difficult for anyone not endgame. In the meantime, the same three or four events on repeat run in the background with the same substandard rewards. There is insufficient upgrade material available via rewards and even purchases. All of these issues have been made known to the developers on their FB and forum pages but I’ve yet to see any meaningful responses. Started playing this game about a week ago and have loved it so far. There is good character variety and so far there doesn’t seem to be a need to get the few specific characters that are better than the rest like other games.
However, when there isn’t a limited banner up you are stuck wishing in the banner with all the characters. This makes it hard to progress in the game since your ability to level up your character and a fair amount of your power comes from ascending the character. Since there is no way to effectively single characters out besides the wish system, which doesn’t seem to do much of anything, you are pretty much stuck until you can pull the character you need. The only sure fire way is to spend a ton of money and hope you get it.

Unwelcome changes
I really enjoy this game for the type it is. The 3D art and visual effects during battles are excellent, the new characters are fun and (mostly) interesting, and it was very free to play friendly. The recent additions of paid skins with stats follows the trend in other games and only affects PVP, which I avoid. Sadly, the devs took away the limited selection tickets you could earn every week just by playing the game. Now to get those last 500 tokens to get the ticket, you have to buy a package. This makes it tougher to consistently build high level characters for the Link system (another unfortunate thing they copied from Mobile Legends Adventure). I really hope they don’t lock regular progression behind a pay wall. F2P players need to be able to get nice rewards regularly (not weekly, sure) to be willing to put the time in. Need to Disable VPN
I have never had to disable VPN to play a game before on iPhone. This one asks to do that and for that reason I will not play it and I can’t recommend it to my friends who play games on mobile as wellEjserna

Feels like a total regression of SRPG games. One ability per character (ultimate) and everything else autos… So one unique move per character on your team? Most games give at least 2 moves per character. Would prefer an actual strategy game over a dynamic wallpaper any day.ZakTech
