  • So far so good

    Nice game !

The only thing I would like different is to be able to chat with my fellow club members. I would be nice to get feed back and get and give advice🙏🏻❤️ I do agree that if you purchase something it should be yours not just 5 of them. It would make the challenges that much harder and more fun🙏🏻❤️ I am adding to my review because I do really like this game, but I can see some of the things others are saying. I don’t believe in your “voting” process, when you first start playing you can get 5’s all day long, the higher up in levels you get- forget it, it makes no sense. Especially if a person is spending actual money on the game. I have seen some 5’s and I am like “ are they having 2 year olds doing the voting lol” but seriously I mean obviously bad designs that really make no sense!!! lol I am sure I will be back- I am on with this game! Ummm autocorrect is stupid I said obsessed with this game.

  • Peaceful and lively!

Garden Joy is a calm and relaxing game to play through. If you’re looking for something action-packed, this is not it. Instead, it is a pleasant landscape game where it takes you through a carousel of gardens and homes where you can design your outdoor lounges. Submit your final work of art for a chance to gain goodies to level up your inventory of plants, furniture, decorations, and fixtures. You and another’s player submission are rated by panels of players. Which leads to the separate modes to go through. One is a voting mode where you can rate other people’s garden, and where your submissions end up for other players to rate too. There’s also a seed you can plant as a side quest and watch it grow as your progress :)

Sometimes I mute music on a lot of phone games. Garden Joy’s isn’t obtrusive (quite meditative actually!) and I am really happy with leaving the audio on for once.

  • Fun…but only if you spend money

This games is lots of fun but only if you’re willing to shell out $5 every few days for more diamonds. Technically you don’t have to spend a cent but there are requirements for each project and often you need to buy item to meet the requirements. Not every option takes the coins that you receive daily and most the items that need to be bought with diamonds cost more than what you get daily. So, if you want to enter that challenge you need to buy more diamonds. $4.99 gets you 16,000 diamonds but each item you buy costs on average 2,500. It goes quickly. Once you buy an item you don’t have it from that point on, you only get to use it 4 or 5 times and then it goes away and you have to buy it again. Then there are bundles that give you items, those cost money. And the challenges, those cost money. It’s one of those games that nickel and dime you until you realize that you’ve spent $35 that month.

I realize the point of making these games is to make money but when it’s too pricey people stop playing because it adds up too much. They would do better to give the items for 10 uses. And give more free diamonds. This way people don’t stop playing to save money. Also, make every category have coin purchase options, for example, none of the centerpieces can be purchased with coin, only diamonds. So again, either don’t use or spend money.

I’m personally LOVING this game. It’s free, no adds AND there’s no limit on what you can buy on the challenges, as long as u have enough money. The money u earn comes free, all the time! And obviously you can buy it on the shop and whatever but it’s like interior designing a garden! It’s immensely fun because you can reach different levels and rate other people’s designs! No cons, but this game literally lives up to its name, it’s just GARDEN JOY! Sincerely recommend ❤️

I lost out on thousands of diamonds after being 34 pieces of glass to complete my last frame. Some of the people who sign on to help do the challenges seem to wait for you to spend your money and do all of the work for them. Seems that way. I don't know if I will ever do another challenge with the goal of getting a reward. I've had two people burn me already. It has cost me more than it cost them, so I'm mad that I couldn't finish the one frame. There should be some compensation when you work hard towards something and the other one supposed to be helping doesn't, making you lose the reward. I get it, though. These app developers are raking in the dough. They probably won't do anything to help. I keep a running list of club members who have helped a lot and those who sit back and don't do anything o do very little. My daughter had one club member contribute ONE PIECE towards her frame, making her lose the reward also. That's ridiculous.

  • This app could be great.

My first complaint is when you purchase an item, the app only lets you use it for so many times. To use it again you have to buy it back. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen with that one.

My second complaint is is the controlling issues. In life we go shopping all over the world just from the use of a smart phone. The extreme limitedness of choices is ridiculous. The app has many numerous choices to offer. It’s just with each place to decorate they severely control your options even down to you can only view 2 items at a time. If the people who want to severely control our choice making them at least make a desirable selection to choose from.

My third complaint is when they offer bundles to buy when your decorating it does coordinate with with another or even the scene. It’s a joke.

My fourth complaint is the nonstop requirements of lawn furniture that does not match or coordinate that you have to buy to submit. Oh there is a lot of requirements you have to buy to submit. Shaking my head.

My fifth complaint is that the nonstop sad controlling issues required to play prevent the app from being great and a real sincere money maker for themselves.

Someone else will come up with an another app much like this one only way better creating a fun creative app that is a real money maker.

    To the company…
If you want to be great fix these issues.
