Great game….enhancements needed
This is a great game in many ways however there could be some enhancements made to make it even better. Suggestions as follows: Sort feature on items by purchase requirements gold/diamonds Closer view of design…like what’s featured in ads or opening screen Purchase of limited items should be in players inventory forever, allow repurchase….gives long time players unique items for their designs More ways to add unique items to inventory More ways to earn diamonds or higher award amounts….the rewards are fairly low in comparison to some other games Too long between design submission and final scores. More challenges and less required objects…affordability for all! Improve object placement…some are ridiculous (ie. object in middle of walkway) The “seed grow” side game is a waste of time. I’ve grown the same plant 25 times and it looks horrible in game so it’s unusable.Show lesseyeondesign
Great game but not flawless
Update: I got my diamond back, so I raised my rating.
I have been playing this game for some time now and have enjoyed it. It’s not perfect but it IS a great game. It has some beautiful designs for you to decorate and some not so much that are more challenging to make pretty. It’s easy to get coins to buy design items (rate other peoples designs), and you can watch videos every day to acquire diamonds to buy other design items, so you don’t HAVE to spend cash to play. My issue at the moment is that I bought some items with diamonds for today’s design, but when I submitted the design, the items weren’t on it, and it’s impossible to go back once submitted. Almost 3000 diamonds are gone, and I don’t have the items I bought. The game has some other minor glitches, but up till today nothing as severe at the stolen diamonds. I would still recommend this game if you like outdoor design.Show lessTankrdog

They offered diamonds to log into your Facebook account. It automatically freezes your account kicks you out and you can’t get back in. This has happened to me 5 TIMES and they insist on posting the link even though they know it’s defective. Each time I have been assured, the problem has been fixed. Their programmers have done nothing to fix the problem and after having this 5 times I always have to re-send them my ID send them proof that I bought something from them so that they can restore my account and it takes about a week. Actually I’m sick of it really it’s the only game that I played that has this many problems that they absolutely refused to fix. What a waste of time and money. Garden Joy acts as if they’re the only design game out there I suggest you fix your problems. I’ve requested a refund. I expect my money back!Show lessPbh35

I’ve been playing for about seven months now, and founded a small Facebook fan club for the game called Another Garden Joy Fan Club. We admire one another’s designs and talk about what we like. There’s some talk about real gardens now and then, too.
We players asked for more round rugs and got them, so I know the devs listen. And remember that one time (I’ve only seen it once so far) when we could choose a pot and then a plant to put in it? I liked that. There are a lot of cool pots in the category. They’d also be fun to use empty as ground decor.

Fun & easy way to learn about landscape plants & designs
This game is all about landscape designs. The daily challenges have no design requirements but the others do, which focuses the design colors or theme. You get feedback on submitted designs because the way to earn coins is to vote on a series of designs.
All the plants have an info button & The Spruce provides the info. You don’t have to use it but this was my biggest draw as I wanted a fun way to identify landscape plants that I liked IRL.
It is free & there is a way to earn both coins & gems but it’s hard to get perfect 5.0 score without spending a little money. They do put the designs of people with a similar experience level together and there is a way to vote for both designs if one isn’t significantly better, so that is totally fair.
I would rate this game 5 stars if club members could talk to each other & if I could see what club mates used of my inventory like I can see who used my whatever. Just curious, using inventory in this way doesn’t actually use up anything and this is in fact a wonderful feature.Show lessQueenBubbles
Fun on many levels
UPDATE: if you have zero talent for design, if you’ve failed every art class you’ve ever taken, or, better — if you’re completely and utterly color blind this is the game for you! It’s fun until you notice that the most hideous of designs earn 5 stars and few who vote own or even knows what a color wheel is. How does this happen? The creators of truly hideous designs are the ones who vote on yours! Otherwise it’s a fun game.
Create, design in a relaxing atmosphere. For me this is ideal gardening. I love beautiful gardens in RL but I don’t like the work the work that goes with it. This is a great option and customer support is great. There’s nothing I don’t like about Garden Joy.Show lessiamsickof this
Animation doesn’t work - what is the point
I got this app a while ago and really liked it but I have a few gripes —the biggest is I just realized the animation doesn’t work. you’re picking things that animate but then when you submit the animation is gone. NONE of the designs you’re voting on has any animation. I realized this after I put in a fire pit that you can’t even see due to a plant, but I used it because the flame, which was above the plant, was really cool the way it was moving all around. Then I realized after I submitted it it was just frozen and you couldn’t even see it. Then I realized the butterflies aren’t moving. Then I realize NOTHING is moving. Really? Why are they including animation if it’s not in the final product? Also, I’m kind of disappointed with some of the design options because they don’t give you item options that make it attractive. I would say a good half are so-so because you simply aren’t offered enough variation. I hope if nothing else they get animation to work.Show lessLindyKing
I’m in love!
I had never played a game quite like this one before. Yes, of course, I’ve played the multiple choice decorating games but I’ve never had to choose each item on my own. Select the colors, styles, materials, etc. and I’m so pleasantly surprised because I’ve found that I’m not half bad with my choices. I’ve received a few scores that were lower than I expected but I’ve received many PERFECT scores too! I find myself looking forward to opening my game everyday! Love this game so much
Of all the crap out there, with numerous ads and scams, this is a refreshing find. Love playing this game and seeing what I can create. I wish there were easier ways to win diamonds though. Diamond—other than the gifting tree—are only gotten thru purchases or taking surveys…either way is not my favorite. How about a mini game of some kind to earn diamonds?
Bonus: join a club when you can. It helps you pick out higher tagged items for free. Great scenery and lots to choose from!Show lessMs.jigsaw
