Most rigged game I’ve ever played!
It’s so late at night because of how many games I’ve played…so rigged that I have not won a single game. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! There “algorithm” is to let the bots win no matter what. Probably to make you spend money to keep playing. Well I did not spend one dollar and I will be deleting this game. Way to wreck a wonderful game and make something relaxing turn frustrating. 0 stars!!!!!!Show lessSarbgirl

When I first started playing Backgammon Plus I was delighted to finally find a backgammon game that seemed to be fair. However as time went on this game became like two other backgammon games I play and it became obvious to me that the games are rigged. I still play backgammon every day but all the fun has gone out of it. It becomes very obvious fairly quickly in any game who is going to win. What a disappointment.Show lessMerrigram

It's all rigged! Do not download. It starts out ok, but you soon realize it's definitely computer controlled... and not in your favor. I had this downloaded years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it, as winning and losing were fairly even. But now... it feels like a 90% lose rate. Maddening how the impossible odds of a certain number combination seems to play out time after time. You can predict what the dice will be. So disappointing. I just want to play with real people and have a more realistic, enjoyable game.Show lessJldub111

Just like the others where you can spend money in the app, the dice are way too rigged.
Leaving a 10% chance almost always results in a loss.

No way to start a game of backgammon without it connecting me to an online opponent. I just want to play the game. Ideally I’d like to play async with a friend. But instead all I see are ways to collect coins, spend coins, and a bunch of other stuff that has nothing to do with backgammon.

This game has great potential, but it’s heavily tainted with rigged dice, endless bots, way too much drama and it keeps stopping on me after I get way ahead.....
Some of us are well~seasoned backgammon players & we can tell the difference between real dice & rigged dice.......
I just don’t understand why these developers keep using rigged dice for these backgammon games........it makes me wonder if they have ever played the game for real....because anyone who has played “real backgammon” would agree that the dice rolls are “random”.....and not programmed for “dramatic purposes”......
If skill & strategy were allowed, backgammon games would be more than awesome....but because the dice are always programmed & rigged, there’s no way to work a strategy.....

What gives you developers the right to keep a percentage of the player’s winnings? You bet 5000 and win but only get 9000??
How does taking a percentage of the non cash winnings benefit ANYONE who is involved in creating/maintaining the game???????

I’ve played backgammon for years n years ( actual board game) I consider myself pretty good and competitive. After loving this app for several wks now I’m convinced most players are bots. Never a picture on profile and no name just initials EVERYTIME I get in a good position to win my opponent ALWAYS ALWAYS rolls double 6’s. 3 doubles sixes in a row. Back to back games this has happened. I predicted it and had my hubs watch and sure enough. They always seem to roll exactly what they need to get me and most of the time they’re all piled up so I can’t get out. Hey App developers… do you have to be so obvious? Why can’t I choose the player I want to play? Why do you choose that for me? The algorithm stinks on this one! Graphics are good but this game is frustrating so I’m done with it. Gin Rummy plus at least gives you options of choosing your opponent’s and you can actually chat briefly w ppl. Profile pictures make me know it’s a real person. If you like to lose to Bots then thus game is for you! I recently went to look at reviews Lo n behold most reviews have confirmed what I suspected. What a waste of my time!!!
