Description of Capture & Process

Capture & Process helps you capture your ideas. And also helps you process them. It is designed to work as a dedicated Inbox app, alongside your existing productivity systems(such as GTD, PKM, PARA, and BASB...). ------ FEATURES * Inbox Clearing Screen: process your ideas without distraction * iCloud Supports: capture & view your ideas across your iOS device * Share Supports: share your text to another app & receive texts you shared from another app * Link button: generates clickable buttons for links in your text * Background color serves as a non-invasive, subtle indicator for if you are supposed to clear your Inbox right now * A trash can for retrieving what you accidentally deleted MADE BY A GTD ENTHUSIAST I implement GTD in my work and life for over 10 years. I believe having a dedicated Inbox could solve a lot of issues people are having when running a GTD system. STILL IN THE EARLY STAGE This app is still under heavy development. There are a lot of functions still on the way. And I need your feedback to set my priorities straight. Feel free to contact me if you got anything you want to share with me. Reviews of Capture & Process

  • Streamlined and Well-Thought-Out

The thing that I really appreciate about Capture is its simplicity. So many apps try to do everything, which makes it difficult to find one that truly suits your needs because they want to do it all. This one, on the other hand, is rather straightforward: you populate your inbox with tasks, mark them as finished, and that’s the end of the story.

However, that isn’t where this app’s usefulness ends. The genius of this lies in its potential to be compatible with a whole suite of other apps due to its sharing and export features. I personally like to jot down my ideas into this app and export them into my task manager of choice, and it works flawlessly.

Hopefully in the future, there will be support for shortcuts and widgets to expedite the “brain dump” process and allow for passive viewing of stored tasks. I think if that is accomplished, this will make for a fantastic, fully-realized standalone or companion app.
