Streamlined and Well-Thought-Out
The thing that I really appreciate about Capture is its simplicity. So many apps try to do everything, which makes it difficult to find one that truly suits your needs because they want to do it all. This one, on the other hand, is rather straightforward: you populate your inbox with tasks, mark them as finished, and that’s the end of the story.
However, that isn’t where this app’s usefulness ends. The genius of this lies in its potential to be compatible with a whole suite of other apps due to its sharing and export features. I personally like to jot down my ideas into this app and export them into my task manager of choice, and it works flawlessly.
Hopefully in the future, there will be support for shortcuts and widgets to expedite the “brain dump” process and allow for passive viewing of stored tasks. I think if that is accomplished, this will make for a fantastic, fully-realized standalone or companion app.
