  • I’m addicted lol oops

Love this game, reminds me of games I’d play in middle school/high school. Overall pretty healthy ways to level up and even reward you when you’re offline. Enjoyable even if you are not buying in-app purchases. I like relearning about Chinese dishes in English though this game.

One thing though: in the develop page, the icon showing how many ingredients we have made for a dish vs broth are mixed up. Maybe I have it wrong and that was intentional.

Request from a fan: please add John Cena into this game as you continue to develop it lol. I am waiting to unlock bing chi ling 😆
  • Surprisingly Fun and Fulfilling

I was apprehensive at first, but I realize I really like this game once I started getting the hang of all the different tasks to complete. I have only been playing for a few days, but I really do like all the different options between characters (staff), the different areas of the restaurant, meals, different mini games to keep you even more intrigued. I will say that it seems a title unforgiving when you make a decision and you can’t come back from it without paying for it (star wise) to change something like the name of the restaurant etc, but I can understand how that’s a good technique for them to encourage people to pay real money to gain more stars because if you use just the ads to gain stars that would take a long time and it may have a limit how often we can use the ads to gain stars, I haven’t seen if that is the case yet, but you gain 10 stars per ad you watch and can trade it for valuable items such as money etc, but they seem to be pretty generous so far, but we do have to realize that they have to makeup so either we be patient and occupy ourselves in between time with other games possibly or pay to speed up the process, but to each its own preference in regards to that. The intricate details in this game is definitely amazing.
  • Addictive

Great game and very cute. I like that there are no random pop up ads. It takes a while to make broth, especially given how many you can unlock. What is frustrating is the amount of tables you have to serve to unlock a (maybe new) food or garnish. At the beginning it was fine since it was just a few. But the requirement kept going up. I figured it would cap at 20 tables but now I am at needing to serve 22 tables….at what number will it stop? We have over 600 to unlock! But otherwise….fun game Devs!
Edit- and now my cooldown time for broth ingredients has gone from a few minutes to an hour…my tables needing to be served has still not capped and I am at 36. How can we progress without losing interest? 4 to 3 stars
  • Great till later

I’ll repeat what most people are saying. It’s great till you reach silver2-gold2. At a certain point it becomes more of a chore to play as making any sort of progress takes 4/5days. Specifically leveling up your workers. As your worker level needs to be at 1600pts when each worker only rewards you 4-10pts at a time. Not to mention getting the books needed to level them up in the first place. It became less rewarding to play as you go on.

You’d think your restaurant would make more money as time went on but the points needed just kept skyrocketing so high it will take you DAYS to get there. That’s of course unless you pay your way up with real money.

Overall fun in the beginning, deleted it at Silver3 level.
  • No ADS and doesn’t push you towards micro-transactions

Writing this review in response to a review I saw complaining about the micro-transactions in this game. Compared to lots of other idle-esque games, this game does micro-transactions well. You have the standard way of watching an ad to get more premium currency but they provide daily premium currency, within the game there’s a car that gives you premium currency, one spin on their lottery system to possibly get premium currency and events come and go that help as well.

You’re not supposed to burn through the progress of this game. It takes time but at least I don’t get bombarded to buy the new sales pack or watch another game ad every time I switch a window in the interface.

This is a great game! If you spend money you can feel confident you’re giving it to some developers and game designers who actually take care of their players.
  • Addicted to this fun game

I love this game so much it is addicting and fun. You get to do it all decorate, serve, clean and collect money. I would love to be able to play the arcade more without having to use so many gems. But the food and different hot pots and people coming in it’s just fun. I would definitely say play this game you don’t have to deal with all the ads you control it. You can watch ads to get more gems but not necessary. You don’t have to spend real money if you don’t want to and you can still progress! Play the game you will love it too can’t recommend enough awesome job devs!!!
  • Fun little game with super pretty graphics

I’ve been playing this game for a few months. It’s easy, pretty, has relaxing music and doesn’t punish you for not logging in every few hours. It has a main story line and lots of mini games that are different and fun. The developer keeps it updated with timely events (for example, there was a soccer mini game during the World Cup).

I get plenty of diamonds to do what I need to do. I’m not in a hurry to fulfill the main story line, no there is so much else to do, that I am happy to play this as a relaxing, fun, non-hurried game.

I haven’t spent any actual money on this game, although I should because I like it so much. I want to support the developer is little so they can continue to maintain this game 😀
  • Love this game

This game is both relaxing and addicting at the same time. There are really no ads that disrupt your game and it’s so easy to play without feeling like you have to spend money. I love food and during the game you get to learn a little bit about hot pot broths and foods, so a game like this is right up my alley. It took me a few days/weeks to really get the hang of everything because there aren’t a lot of explicit instructions on the random things that can be done inside the game (ie. tapping workers with thought bubbles to gain items in your inventory) but I think you can catch on fairly quickly. Would recommend.
  • Fun and enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this game and liked fixing up the place. I even got everything upped to where I couldn’t up it anymore as far as the glorious items and at bronze level two but then I feel like it kind of stalled. Having to merge items and running out of energy, couldn’t get coins/ items needed to make a dish from the lucky cat statue unless you were actively playing the game, and waiting for said cat statue to get full so you could collect items to make a dish felt like you couldn’t progress unless you purchased what was needed. It was taking forever to move from bronze level two to three because all I needed was to up my dishes but I had everything at five stars. Not sure what can be done to help but if you have the patience to get further then good luck. I just didn’t after I was making what I felt was very little progress.
  • Low ads, but levels need balanced

Three stars is pretty harsh- I’d really give it 3.5. There’s a lot of fun free content, except once you hit silver the balance of the game really falls off. 500k investments in the main segment area don’t compare to the VIP or Theater. Going from Silver 2 to Silver 3 literally took weeks of active play and some paid coins. There are events that you have to be Gold level
Or higher, but actually hitting those seems crazy with how rare the items to level up staff & food is. The mini games are honestly really enjoyable, it’d be cool to have more of them at all levels- even if you had to watch an ad to play them :) the immense struggle to level up has really taken a lot of fun out for me, but I’ve been playing it for about a month. It’s a cute pass time, but I don’t know if it’ll stick unless the tiers and areas get adjusted.
