You have to buy chapters, even if you’re subbed
Every single series has the last handful of chapters blocked behind paywalls. Why do you think anyone would pay a subscription if youre going to make them buy the content, anyways. Oh, im sorry, rent the content, because you dont even own it. If you find that one panel you want to set as your background, they also threaten to ban you for screenshots, which shonen, viz & manga plus have never done. Until these jokers & kodansha stop trying to nickel & dime us, just stick with the viz apps. You dont have to worry about slamming into a paywall when youre barreling full speed through a title. Now i have to google scans to finish my series, because i am not buying something that im already paying to have access to.

Why in the world is there a subscription option if you still have to pay to view the ending chapters of most series. Between that and the fact that some series are missing all of their chapters there’s a good reason mangadex exists. What an absolute ripoff
Many New Titles in Subscription
It seems like Square Enix must have the rights to a lot of new titles in fantasy worlds. So far, the subscription has given access to almost every chapter except the 3 most recent in the series. Even the 3 most recent, I think you can read a limited number of the most recent per month.
To me, it seems like other apps don’t have as many new titles in new worlds as Square Enix. I think the subscription is $5 a month. Not sure what previews they may or may not offer for free

Love it
I am loving the new subscription service. For the price of 2 sodas I can read so much manga and help the authors. I wish more apps would go this route so it could be easier to read manga without scan apps. Or paying 300 dollars to buy the whole series. I didn’t particularly like it at first when it first came out but I saw the updates the way made like implementing a sub service and it’s prob one of my top manga apps nowadays.

Devs please consider to follow this
This is an amazing app but there’s one issue that this app it a pay to read app so it would be nicer to have where you have to wait to read the rest and pay to read it with out waiting that’s a better option than not being able to read with out paying for more chapters yet it still makes them money other then people no wanting to pay and deleting that app which is not a good thing so and yet with the other option you can still make money if readers want to read the chapters earlier then having to wait

Amazing app that has improved a lot over the past year
When the Manga up app came out , It initially had bismal ratings due to the fact that similar to its Japanese counter part , you had to purchase individual chapters with a bizarre experience points themed system. Since then they have added a subscription based tier similar to the various viz media apps and manga plus. There are still some series that require experience points for the most recent chapters but given that they give you a ton of points for using the app everyday , it’s really easy to get the chapters for free when it’s all said and done. There are some amazing series on here and an incredible variety that is not available on the other apps

My Opinion
I installed this app when I saw the ad of “Assassin x Cinderella” and I fell in love with these two couples so I started reading them and boy, I was obsessed. I kept reading and I thought it was free so I was like YAY! THIS IS THE BEST APP EVER! I read more and more, and then it came to the part where I had no coins and no nothing and I clicked “continue to read” and I had to BUY coins. I was like NOPE SORRY THIS IS THE BEST MANGA BUT IM NOT BUYING ANYTHING. I got upset, but I realized not everything is free, not even the best manga but I loved the manga it’s the best. RECOMMENDED IF YOU’RE INTO ROMANCE AND COMEDY!!

Really good but..
It’s a really really good app to read on and I love it, the manga’s are really good and are so interesting and intriguing I can’t get off the app without thinking about it, but heres the issue. I have to pay using XP and others and its so expensive I use everything up really quickly. I barely have any XP left, I’m almost left with zero. It would be so reasonable if the price was like 20, not 40. I hope you can at least reduce the price because I really wanna read the manga because to me, It’s really interesting and I can at least have a good nights rest if the price was lowered and I could read more then I expect .. Please please please lower the price, a lot of people don’t have money to buy coins and XP and It’s really annoying. Thank you so much.

I like this app because it’s an easy way to read mangas with out spending little-to-no money. I’ve had it for almost a year now and I still use it. You get coins every day, and the next day, you’ll get your coins refilled. I recommend it if you like mangas.
