Pretty good
I will admit I did hesitate at first ti get it when I saw that you has to pay for it. But then all of my worried went away when I realized how cheep it was to pay for. (Only 2.99 a month I believe). Which is actually pretty good. I will admit the options here are pretty amazing, if you are willing to pay of course. I mean, you dint have to pay, but you will get less option and only get to read three free chapters of each manga. Which isn’t much if you think about it, but it is so worth it to see the options. They also give a description of each manga which helps for people who are trying to find different manga to read. I personally do love the app, since I don’t have other apps to see the anime. It is helpful to know that I can indeed read my favorite anime’s. I just got this app like maybe three days ago and I really do enjoy rewarding the options that are given. So if I were you I would totally get this app because it really is pretty good to have. :)Show lessJust Okay
Subscription price is reasonable. Very disappointed to be unable to read M-Rated series in app. The web version for M-Rated series is separate and feels much different to use than the app. This defeats the purpose of having a wide library in order to read all of your manga in one place. On top of that, options for browsing are quite limited, no filtering by genre or anything like that except for the few limited categories you see on the front page, so hopefully you already know what you want to read, or at least have somewhere else to find out. The interface doesn’t feel great to use, and switching between chapters feels clunky, ESPECIALLY when going to a previous chapter. Besides that, the selection of manga is pretty good and the translations/extra info on japanese words and culture relevant to the story are good, but scarce. Fan translations tend to include much more and go above and beyond, whereas here it feels like bare minimum. Phones are not an ideal screen to use this app. When reading on most normal size phones, either you can see 1 page at a time and get split images and info, or you can turn it sideways and see both pages, but be unable to read or make out any details. The zoom feature is also too dysfunctional in order to help you out here. Tablets will work better: This is an alright choice in between pirating your manga and purchasing physical copies.Show lessGreat app besides two very minor details
I love this app and spend hours upon hours every day reading from the broad selection of manga. The only downside is that while bingeing, I always have to hit read next and wait for the screen to flip. If the producers of this app could make it so that you could binge more easily without as long of a, or no, pause. Whenever I have to go to the next chapter I have to press “read next” which makes sense but the screen always glitches and flips which makes it so that I have to wait longer to keep reading. My other problem with this app is fact that there isn’t a screen lock so that whatever your screen angle is at, you can maintain one angle. I often read while laying down and like to put my screen to the side but am constantly hafting to put my screen back into a different position and when you use the phones “Lock Screen” feature, it positions the screen in portrait (horizontal) position and I prefer landscape (lateral) position. If in the menu pop up that appears when you click the screen once the was a little lock button where you could lock the screen regardless of what position your actual device was in, then that would make late night reading much more convenient for a side layer like myself. Like I said earlier, this is a great app and I love the low subscription price, but I would really like it if you could consider my suggestions.Show less
