Amazing app BUT freezes

This is a great app but sometimes when I load up a new chapter, it completely freezes and I can’t exit or go to the next page so I have to close the app and load it it up again. It doesn’t happen too frequently but some days it would happen over 10 times each time when loading up new chapters. I don’t know if it’s a problem with my device or the app, but I still love it. I really hope eventually this gets fixed though since it can be really annoying, even when I wait it doesn’t get unfrozen and I have to again completely close it load it up again and go back on the chapter. Also I think the 100 chapter limit isn’t the best because you’re paying in the first place, and if you want to read more than 100 chapters in one day which some people can manage you will have to go on pirate websites - I thought the whole point of this app was to have an official app where people could read manga without pirating it. I don’t really get it but there’s probably some other reason I don’t know about why it’s needed. But other than that this is a great app I use it everyday, totally recommend :)

It’s fine but the chapter limit is stupid

The apps great, has no ads and is pretty smooth overall. However, it doesn’t have a lot of non mainstream stuff which is absolutely fine.
The main issue is there’s a limit on how many chapters you can read in a day. I was really into one manga and was reading it lots on a weekend and all of a sudden it told me you have reached the limit of 100 chapters and said wait 5 hours. I looked up why and apparently it’s due to piracy which is understandable but it’s super obnoxious to get because why am i being cut of from content i’m paying for. usually people would pirate the content, a lot some 3rd party apps are 10x better than this app, yet i decided to give it a try.

To be honest it’s PROBABLY not a big deal but imagine you’re using netflix and it all of a sudden says WELL no more tv time for you buddy, you watched too much🤗. it’s low key infuriating to see.

Why only 100 chapters?

It has tons of manga and high quality pages but for some reason they only let you read 100 chapters a day?!

Amazing but only 3 chapter!?!?!?

I love Shonen Jump, I love Shonen Jump, I eat Shonen Jump for breakfast but there’s one problem about Shonen Jump! We can only read 3 chapters of the manga then buy the subscription!!!! Here’s some feedback: If you want people using your platform and buying the subscription, give us at least every one week to have one manga to read. I guarantee that some or most people will buy the subscription to not wait every week so please take this feedback and review as a suggestion to change this platform to something better and greater and something people will want to use every single day!!!! I don’t want to delete Shonen Jump….🥲🥲🥲

Very good!

This is a very good game but I am here to tell u guys what it’s like. Basically it has everyyyy singleee animeeee and with most anime there is a collection! Say u wanted ‘ demon slayers ‘ u would search that up and then it would come up with loads of d ifferent types. It would be the normal one, demon slayer novels, a story of water and fire breathing ( idk what it is but on the front cover there is giyu and rengoku ) and demon slayer corps record! One of the bad things is on most mangas u can only read 3 mangas for free and after that u have to subscribe and pay £2.99 a month until u unsubscribe. But this is a very good game

Pretty good

I will admit I did hesitate at first ti get it when I saw that you has to pay for it. But then all of my worried went away when I realized how cheep it was to pay for. (Only 2.99 a month I believe). Which is actually pretty good. I will admit the options here are pretty amazing, if you are willing to pay of course. I mean, you dint have to pay, but you will get less option and only get to read three free chapters of each manga. Which isn’t much if you think about it, but it is so worth it to see the options. They also give a description of each manga which helps for people who are trying to find different manga to read. I personally do love the app, since I don’t have other apps to see the anime. It is helpful to know that I can indeed read my favorite anime’s. I just got this app like maybe three days ago and I really do enjoy rewarding the options that are given. So if I were you I would totally get this app because it really is pretty good to have. :)

Just Okay

Subscription price is reasonable. Very disappointed to be unable to read M-Rated series in app. The web version for M-Rated series is separate and feels much different to use than the app. This defeats the purpose of having a wide library in order to read all of your manga in one place. On top of that, options for browsing are quite limited, no filtering by genre or anything like that except for the few limited categories you see on the front page, so hopefully you already know what you want to read, or at least have somewhere else to find out. The interface doesn’t feel great to use, and switching between chapters feels clunky, ESPECIALLY when going to a previous chapter. Besides that, the selection of manga is pretty good and the translations/extra info on japanese words and culture relevant to the story are good, but scarce. Fan translations tend to include much more and go above and beyond, whereas here it feels like bare minimum. Phones are not an ideal screen to use this app. When reading on most normal size phones, either you can see 1 page at a time and get split images and info, or you can turn it sideways and see both pages, but be unable to read or make out any details. The zoom feature is also too dysfunctional in order to help you out here. Tablets will work better: This is an alright choice in between pirating your manga and purchasing physical copies.

Highly recommended manga reader

Tons of content, no ads, pick up and continue reading across devices. The monthly cost is super affordable and the most bang for your buck you can get.

Pretty good! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I can easily find what I’m looking for and for most of the manga, there’s new chapters weekly! The only thing I don’t like is, sometimes when they release new chapters for a new manga, it instantly can’t be accessed unless your a member. I know that this is kind of my problem because I don’t go into Shonen often enough to make my money’s worth but, for those who can’t make purchases for any reason, I would definitely recommend going into the app weekly or even fortnightly. I would 100% recommend Shonen for people to use, although I wouldn’t recommend if you just started reading manga because I was a little confused at first so I read hard copies. Don’t let it get to you too much though! ★★★★☆ (≧∇≦)

100 chapter limit for payed users?

Literally the perfect app in every way; cheap subscription, tons of popular manga, works seamlessly with minimal issues, downloadable manga etc etc.

However.

Why am I, as a customer who is actually paying you for a service, being restricted in said service to 100 chapters a day.

Granted, 100 Chapters is no meagre number, but when you want to get through one piece, Naruto, or any other long manga… it’s literally nothing.

Also, if I’m going on a long trip and want to download manga to read, 100 is no where NEAR enough.

All this feature does is promote piracy. Why would I wait 24 hours to finish, for example, bleach, when I can just go to a random website and read the entire thing in a day with no restrictions/downsides?

Yeah… it makes no sense.

Please sort this out 🙏
