Fantastic app
I love that feedback of any kind is responded to and where possible they make every effort at CGX to meet the needs of the user. It really feels like this is ‘our app’.
The download feature is great for when travelling or anywhere with out internet, the articles are very interesting and can be reassured that Caroline wouldn’t publish anything if it wasn’t from a source that she trusts.
Finally, it isn’t just about the app that keeps me coming back it is the very well presented and carefully considered workouts! I think MOST workouts on the app range at around 45 minutes and it is clear that this is a happy medium because of course, it would be impossible to satisfy everyone’s requirements. There is a selection of longer and shorter workouts if that’s what people prefer and between programmes there are regularly mini series or stand alone workouts published.
Caroline stresses that it is YOU VS YOU and to make these workouts your own. These workouts enable adaptations to suit you, your capabilities and your needs and goals.

Needs more
A feature to add more rest time between lifts/ sets would also be great (Ladder app offers this) and maybe an add on of 10 min abs or HIT as an option when you finish your workout (a feature BODi offers) Adding in/ teaming up with my fitness pal or something similar for counting macros/ calories would also be a nice touch, but that's not a big deal really. I love CG YT and just really wish the app had more to it. Just some ideas to help take the app to the next level. CG is my absolute favorite trainer and I'd love to get more out of her app.

Brillant app!
I have been using the CGX App for a year now and still think it is the best out there. The lastest program, “PE” (incorporating both pre and post exhaust), might be my favourite to date!

I have been following Caroline for quite some time and was so pleased she decided to create an app. The app is brilliant! I love the easy to navigate format. I love the articles (I read them post workout while cooling down with a protein shake), I love the "how to" videos explaining proper form, but most of all I love the workouts! Everything you love about Caroline is here on an app and at a very accessible price. Well done Caroline! this is the best fitness app ever!

Certain features not working
Adding notes feature wasn’t working for me, it gave me an error message and I cannot copy paste the notes either, so I just didn’t bother. It was working at first, but it didn’t save the notes so when I checked it again the notes were gone. Then when I tried doing it again, I kept getting error messages.
I also wonder why have heart rate monitor etc if it is not able to track it? Are we supposed to connect it with an iWatch or something? I don’t have any of that. Just curious why bother creating the feature if it is not doing anything.
I am still debating whether to continue subscription or not, I do like her workouts but not sure if the app features are working for me.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback! CGX should absolutely count your downloaded workout towards your Workout History, even if you're offline when you do that workout. You'll see your completed workouts in the Settings > Workout History area. And the heart rate monitor links up to Apple Health on your iPhone or iPad. Waiting for developers to address bugs before I subscribe again
It’s really a shame, because the quality of the content is excellent. But there is no way I would pay money for an app that has this many problems.
