App does not record miles but the website actually does. Mileage Choice Va website allows a view of my mileage. The apps a waste of time. It caused me a lot of wasted time. I finally emailed the program to verify my device was recording. Then all of a sudden the web page caught up. Yikes…how would anyone challenged by electronics do this!

Completely worthless
I’ve been enrolled in the Mileage Choice program for three and a half months. This app does not show that I have taken any trips in that time. (I’ve gone several hundred miles in the car with the reporting device installed.) I can see my current miles when I log into my account via a web browser. But this app shows absolutely nothing. I’m not sure who gave this app a 3-star rating, but it must’ve been the developer. Nobody who has used it seems to get any results from it at all.

A bit confusing but seems to work
I was finally able to login after going to the website and looking up the FAQs. I think it would be much more helpful if an email was sent out or instructions of exact steps were included in the device that is mailed to you. But all you get in the mail is the device and a piece of paper showing you how to plug it in. It tells you nothing about the steps needed to get everything set up so it was very confusing downloading the app, and not being able to login only to realize you had to activate the account first, which I thought was already done when you created the online account but that is not the case. You create your online Account, then download the app, then you have to activate your account by entering your activation code. You can find your activation code in the online account you created through the VA mileage Choice program website. So just to be clear, you have to first create your online account in the Virginia mileage choice website. And once you receive your device, you then download the app and the first thing you have to click on is activate your account. It will ask you for an activation code, which is in your online mileage account (first one created). Then you create an account for the app. I highly recommend looking at the FAQs on the website (not the app). I just hope the DMV can improve the communications and instructions from start to finish on how everything works together, and what steps you have to take. It took me about two hours to figure everything out after repeatedly banging my head against the wall trying to log into the app with my online account info. Very confusing but hopefully I got it working!

Doesn’t pull any of the data it portrays to show. The website works okay, the app doesn’t work at all.

Horrible app - won’t even let me login
The app won’t even let me login and says I need to verify my email address and login - but there’s not prompt, button or anything to do that. And it doesn’t email me a verification either. I’m suspecting calling customer service on Monday is going to be awful with long wait times too. Ugh. I should’ve just opted for the full $27/year payment.

This app is not working. I installed the device in my vehicle 2 weeks ago, and the app is not recording my trips or odometer readings.
