Unusable
Can’t even login. You would think a company that provides information for programmers could have a simple app that works.
App is good
It has everything except the playlists feature, which would be a nice addition.
The font size can be increased, which is very useful.
The UX of the book view is decent, but it could benefit from some mechanism of continuing where the user left off within the same chapter section.
Currently we have to scroll the page which can take quite a few gestures.
The table of contents is a big help though.

App doesn’t make sense
This app doesn’t really seem to make any sense, and I don’t know what the developers even planned on putting it on the App Store if the user is not going to be able to access their owned material. I don’t have a subscription and I’m not looking in paying for one but I’ve already paid for $35 worth of learning material on packt and am unable to access on the go.

Terrible app for a great service.
Packt has really good content. I have enjoyed doing their courses on the website. This app though is full of problems. Constant crashes, lagging when playing videos and very very poor user interface. Such a shame because their courses really deserve better.

I can’t login and I’m a subscriber!
Poor and now I can’t even log in
The old Packt app was good until it got abandoned and left in a broken state for years. I thought this was a replacement but it’s very poor by comparison and since they updated the Authentication I’ve been unable to login.
It’s pretty reflective of Packt in general - rough around the edges compared to the competition.
