ADBL Krishi Gyan Kendra app provides increased access to agro-met advisories with weather forecasts, crop stage based agricultural advisories for agricultural practices or inputs (irrigation, fertilization etc.) and disease and pest management. The app also provides updated information on market price of commodities for farmer’s reference. With updated weather forecasts, farmers’ can plan their future activities accordingly. Farmers’ will have easy access to day-to-day activity list for each farming stages from planning, nursery management, transplanting, growing, harvesting to post-harvesting. Farmers’ will also have access to most prevalent disease and pest related information, and management practices to handle such problems. With updated market price in hand, farmers can plan the type of crops they would like to sow and make decision on right time to harvest their crop.
